Please don't heed this advice. Atraxa is so uninspired.
I mean if you want inspired play Lavinia of the Tenth and go get Venser the Sojourner but if you want a synergistic commander and access to more walkers than a few Jaces, Eslpeths, and Gideon's play Atraxa.

Too many people focus on the proliferate. I liked my atraxa bottom deck. She is a 4/4 for 4. With built flying, vigilance, deathtouch and lifelink. Why not run her? I would run her for the 4 colors and great creatures. Proliferate is literally a second cherry on top of the already delicious sundae.
Ladies and Gents, I never said Atraxa wasn't the gold standard for super friends. She is. She's a brutal, multi-faceted death machine that actively advances a PW gameplan. She's simply boring and extremely common.
I'm on board with most things you said, but a few things about Brago, King Eternal.
If you blink PWs with him you're not only resetting loyality. Since the PW returns as a new entity you're able to use them again in your post combat main phase. Resetting The Chain Veil on top of that is nuts. Optimal play would be abusing + and - as often as possible until you're able to go for an ult.
The Brago interaction with walkers is so good, you never need to build up into ultimates. Getting the guaranteed value each turn twice every turn is just too much to pass up.
My Brago deck isn't centered on walkers. Yet the walkers often take over anyways. The only ultimate I ever try to build up towards is the Venser ultimate and that's usually plan C.
@ Lumovanis - i actually think its fine, in a 4 player game edh game, you literally cant counter control everything your opponents do, so casting azor, the lawbringer, keeping them off instants & sorceries for a turn & then untapping & swinging in to grab a full grip of cards, seems pretty sweet to me. i dont believe the OP is talking about a super competitive meta or 1v1 commander
You can easily do superfriends in UW, you can almost do superfriends in any of the mono colors (don't try red yet...) there has been so much support printed for that archetype.
That said, Brago, King Eternal is the most combo-centric and probably most powerful, Raff Capashen, Ship's Mage has great synergy and utility with superfriends, and Isperia, Supreme Judge while a cut below the other two still has good synergy and can be a finisher. Plus you should have a solid amount of artifact ramp whether you are playing her or not, she's the cool, albeit slightly less powerful choice.
Isperia, Supreme Judge. It is a GREAT commander for a superfriends azorius. It has an ability saying "Whenever a creature attacks you or a planeswalker you control, you may draw a card."Or Grand Arbiter Augustin IV. White spells and blue spells you cast cost 1 less to cast and spells your pponents cast cost more to cast.

There you go.
Tapping 4+ mana on a combat trigger is still not where you want to be in a control deck.
