So, this guy has been holding my interest the most so far of all the new legends from Dominaria. Having a Fist of Suns in the command zone makes having acces to it reliable enough to build a deck around. Some first observations:
[1] He is a 4 power commander for 4 mana with evasion. Commander damage can be a serious option here, especially with a little buff.
[2] His ability is still lets you cast the spells, so things that work on cast will still work.
The comparison to Ramos, Dragon Engine is fair as Jodah is likely going to be doing mostly the same thing. The thing I like about Jodah is that he can start abusing big spells immediately, versus Ramos who needs you to be casting a few things first before he starts getting stupid. They both have their strengths, and I think a strong case can be made either way.
That said, for Jodah in particular, I've been kicking around the idea of pushing my Thrasios, Triton Hero/Vial Smasher the Fierce list into full 5-color. Thrasios/Smasher is Big Spell.dec anyways with stuff like Emrakul 2.0, Mind's Dilation, Expropriate, etc. I'd basically just splash in some of the quality white point removal like Swords and Vindicate.
Of course you can do the typical 5c goodstuff deck, but the interesting part of Jodah would be some of the Converge spells and some of the Suspend spells. A 5c Eureka/Hypergenesis deck sounds pretty sweet to me, or a 5c control deck that is prepared to abuse Restore Balance, and I can't wait to cast a Painful Truths to draw 5. There also might be something to do with Sunburst, but I havent actually looked into that.
Omniscience, Enter the Infinite, and Primal Surge strike me as the easiest ways to win on the spot. Surge of course requires deliberate deck construction that eschews instants/sorceries.
Another thought I had was using Jodah as backup for a reanimator plan.
I love the concept of building Jodah around Restore Balance! That's such a powerful effect but tricky to abuse.

That sounds really cool, i haven't thought of those interactions. Definitly something to keep in mind. While those mechanics have some good cards among them, i doubt it will be enough to make it more than a subtheme though.

You assume you will always have Jodah on the battlefield. Opponents will quickly realize what he enables you to do and will do their best to remove him. However I end up building the deck, it should also be able to function properly when Joadah is not available. Obviously the deck will include Cascading Cataracts and it's predecessor Crystal Quarry, so having some powerful midrange effects won't hurt.

Why would including these two cards be obvious? Just because they have "add WURBG" in their rules text doesn't mean they should be in any 5C deck. They're awful lands that add an extra mana onto every 5C card or Jodah alt cost you cast.
I would probably do something stupid like "only ramp and CMC 8+ cards", just to see where that gets me. View Jodah as an acceleration, but being (somewhat) able to also hardcast every stupid big spell in the deck eventually too.
A different kind of 'good stuff', if you will.
Edit: would be an interesting deckbuilding challenge: outside of Jodah, you are only allowed to use cmc 1-3 ramp/manafix spells, and spells that cost 8 or more(290 of those - some of them have to be playable here). Create the wonkiest, yet-somehow-working "curve"

Personally I've been pondering building a 5 color goodstuff deck but so far it had no angle to hold on too. Now I have: playing expensive cards on the cheap. The deck can add Maelstrom Archangel, Maelstrom Wanderer, Sunbird's Invocation, Rashmi, Eternities Crafter and the like. And besides that, just play all good cards that can take over a game nearly by themselves like Consecrated Sphinx, Luminarch Ascension, Rise of the Dark Realms, Insurrection etc.
What cards can you think of that could fit a deck like this?

But then again, i would be looking at stuff like Enter the infinite for a major out.
Yidris, Maelstrom Wanderer would be a good addition if you are looking at a cascade subtheme.

Painful Truths looks like the start and end of the list of good Sunburst and Converge cards; why run Engineered Explosives and Radiant Flames when you can slam Jodah and then cheat out In Garruk's Wake or Overwhelming Forces? Crystalline Crawler and Pentad Prism are intriguing ramp/value engines, but even with a Doubling Season subtheme it's hard to justify going that route instead of throwing down Omniscience and Cruel Ultimatum and Brilliant Ultimatum and Clone Legion and Praetor's Counsel to get infinite value.

Fair enough - Engineered Explosives is a decent add especially if your meta has a lot of tokens. I'd say if you want sweepers that aren't a billion mana however, you're better off looking at Rolling Earthquake, Blasphemous Act, Cyclonic Rift, Toxic Deluge, and classic Wrath of God and Damnation over Radiant Flames, and for mana rocks I'd focus on 1, 2, and 3 CMC ones that make colored mana (Fellwar Stone, Coldsteel Heart, signets, Wayfarer's Bauble, Prismatic Lens, Chromatic Lantern, Commander's Sphere) since they will help you ramp into Jodah and are recurrent and not one-shot like Prism or slow and durdly like Crawler.
