I have been working on a hypergenises deck list for edh and I have run into a question that most of the players I know can't answer and that is how many big bombs (aka beef) do you run in the deck? You clearly want enough to be able to place more on the battlefield than your opponents (or just better ones) so do you just jam as much as you can and just leave the mana curve by the wayside as you load up with huge casting cost things?
I have made a few 5-color Hypergenesis decks, and one that I really settled on for the most fun was actually one that packed a sub Grozoth theme.
I found the trick is to put in as many cards that are able to kill or steal opposing things opponents might put into play. Also cards that draw are really great for actually having a follow up to the Hypergenesis, as sometimes a board wipe effect can put you back to square one.
Anyway I haven't touched the deck in about a year, but here is my list, it'll give you an idea that I'm all in on fat stuff. All the cascade will 100% hit either Hypergenesis or Eureka (except for Bituminous Blast and Deny Reality could possibly hit Defense of the Heart):
If you have Grozoth as part of your Hypergensis cheating in, then you get 14 "9s" cards, then discard all the creatures due to hand size, and then build up for the Rise of the Dark Realms. Its really nice to have a follow up plan if your initial Hypergenesis fails to win sort of on the spot, which will happen a lot. Sometimes you will just get your opponents (Gotcha), but because it's a Gods roll of the dice on what you have in hand, expect to have to win with a secondary game plan.
@JDviant I was looking to run it in a Yidris deck as the cascade could help me hit it more often so I would be in not white.
@DirkGently that's actually not a bad/funny idea that might be worth testing.
@darrenhabib I though about running a Grozoth in there as he just let you fill then dump your hand off of a hyper but in not white I feel like there a few to many good one that I would want to run. How was the early game for your deck? what did you do most of the time on turns 1-4?

I have a lot of ramp and a lot of large creatures; at the 6+ CMC, Rampaging Baloths, Avenger of Zendikar, Pathbreaker Ibex, Panglacial Wurm, Realm Seekers, Platinum Angel, Archetype of Endurance, Myojin of Seeing Winds (to draw all those cards for Hypergenesis!) and probably others.
