At first glance, Wayward Swordtooth seemed unimpressive to me, since it's basically a worse Exploration that sometimes has a 5/5 body. However, I realized that having a CMC of 3 does make it a valid choice for Woodland Bellower, which has become my favorite creature tutor in my Azusa, Lost but Seeking list (yes, I know it's worse than cards like Chord of Calling, but I like having a 6/5 who also counts as nearly any utility creature in my deck). Is it worth running Swordtooth as an Exploration for the times where I want that extra land drop (most frequently, when I have Courser of Kruphix, Oracle of Mul Daya, Ramunap Excavator, or Recycle onboard), or am I leaning too hard into best case scenario mentality?
That said, if you're doing this as a Storm Cauldron deck, the answer is, all of them. Every last Exploration effect is needed, even the *****ty ones.

Card advantage is not the same thing as card draw. Something for 2B cannot be strictly worse than something for BBB or 3BB. If you're taking out Swords to Plowshares for Plummet, you're a fool. Stop doing these things!

When you add crucible of worlds affects and a strip mine.....it’s devestsing and you loose friends
And that's...another way to do it. I still like Storm Cauldron, though, just for landfall fun and your opponents can't do anything. Then again, half the decks I build end up becoming Stax, so...

On phasing:
sorcery instant ascend you have to have ten on the cast
permanents with ascend the moment you hit exactly 10 permanents you get it
so keep wayward swordtooth long enough then he can start attacking and blocking willy nilly
and reminder of how easy it is to get to 10 permanents in edh.
