Is it? Because I'm not so sure. Paying five is a lot more expensive than paying three, even if the Landscape does enter the battlefield tapped.
It does enter untapped, which can be a big difference. OTOH, since you're already in green, I'd generally prefer ramp spells over the expensive/slow ramp lands.

I don't mind Woodland in mono-G. You're unlikely to run into color trouble even with an excessive number of utility lands and I'd expect good mana sinks to take advantage of the ramp spells. Basically zero opportunity cost for marginal upside, which is a trade I'm fine with. Once you get into multiple colors, it's a little more of a trade off and I'd probably pass on it in favor of higher impact utility lands.

Depends on how many taplands I'm running. I recently cut it in Gitrog to make room for expedition map which for some reason I had never got in there. It's pretty low on the spectrum of power for an ETB tapped taps for colorless land, just too many of those.
Blighted Woodland is better because you can use it immediately upon recursion--I've activated it 3 times in a turn before.
Card's good. Let's move on to a more important topic: which art is best?
As much as I like Amy Weber's crazy sea creature array, something about the more abstract Drew Tucker art is pretty appealing. Anson Maddocks' is definitely third and the Dack art comes in behind all of them.

When someone cards this you know they're about to do something nefarious. Like probably 99 out of 100 times.
Anson Maddocks art is my jam. Partially because Anson is the first MTG artist I liked the art of. Hurloon Minotaur is not without its uses. Well, it is, but 14yo me thought it looked cool.
I wish they would print an island version of urborg, tomb of yawgmoth. Or it would be too strong?

How i feel about competitive players and casual players in EDH: The competitive are german tourists, the casual are italian tourists, both in a italian beach. The italians asking themselves "why are the germans here?" make a legitimate question, the answer is because the beach is beautiful, no matter the country you came from. The italians wanting to ban the germans are dumb, because if the germans pay for their stay and follow the rules like everyone else, they have the right to be in the beach. Hovewer, if the germans started to ask themselves "why are the italians here?"... they would be dumb as hell.
3. Anson Maddocks - Not my cup of tea, but at least there's enough art in MTG to match it with.
4. Eric Deschamps - Great artist, but this one's a little too generic for me.
I love the modern card frame and the art/flavor of the final version. I hope that someday it is reprinted in a non-foil version which is easier to get hold of.
I live in Lima, Peru. It is not easy to get older cards, so I have the less popular Anson Maddocks version.
I only have one deck for it, Mizzix of the Izmagnus.

"Whatever style you wish to play, be it fast and frenzied or slow and tactical, the surest way to defeat your opponent consistently is by dominating him or her in the war of card advantage." - Brian Wiseman, April 1996
Gotta go with Drew Tucker because General Khurzog is such a character. Do you guys think one-shot accelerants like Dark Ritual and High Tide are underplayed outside of storm-forcing decks?
High Tide would be red if it were made today (from Maro's blog). I could see it being a ritual in a storm deck, but it could enable some fun Zacama, Primal Calamity decks.
I have to cast a vote for Amy Weber, though TBH, all three arts are pretty good.
Let's say this: I have cast High Tide, followed by Snapcaster Mage naming...High Tide. Yeah, that kind of storm is as majestic as it is beautiful, once.

Card advantage is not the same thing as card draw. Something for 2B cannot be strictly worse than something for BBB or 3BB. If you're taking out Swords to Plowshares for Plummet, you're a fool. Stop doing these things!

Oh... Deschamps. I've never seen that one before. Ugh.... it looks like rejected art for Ixalan or something.... before Ixalan? How did that happen?
Amy Weber is the way to go. Her Dragon Whelp still tops my great art list.
I'm sure you guys can figure out which Whelp I mean.
It's slow, but Quicksilver Fountain exists.
