How i feel about competitive players and casual players in EDH: The competitive are german tourists, the casual are italian tourists, both in a italian beach. The italians asking themselves "why are the germans here?" make a legitimate question, the answer is because the beach is beautiful, no matter the country you came from. The italians wanting to ban the germans are dumb, because if the germans pay for their stay and follow the rules like everyone else, they have the right to be in the beach. Hovewer, if the germans started to ask themselves "why are the italians here?"... they would be dumb as hell.
As for Bamboozle, I think that there are much better ways to self-mill or screw with the top of an opponent's deck and its just not worth the mana or the card for the effect, but if you needed to go really deep on this kind of effect then maybe (big maybe) this could see play.
The quintessential problem with this card is, dredge, Buried Alive, Gifts Ungiven, Mulch, and Hermit Druid all come off as better ways to self-mill (and very few decks want to self-mill without some black or green), when I'm milling others it's usually Bloodchief Ascension shenanigans, Mesmeric Orb and Mindcrank exist, and as a dig card, even something as bottom-of-the-barrel as Index looks better. 2/10

Card advantage is not the same thing as card draw. Something for 2B cannot be strictly worse than something for BBB or 3BB. If you're taking out Swords to Plowshares for Plummet, you're a fool. Stop doing these things!

maybe this theme deck should just be "deck of "cards that have awesome card names" tribal".
Used to see this card all the time, not so much lately. I'd say it was amazing back when the format was almost all fatties and boardwipes, but I don't want to oversell it.

Zedruu: "This deck is not only able to go crazy - it also needs to do so."
I have it in my sac heavy Mazirek, kraul death priest deck. It's a bit slow I suppose and obviously relies on your yard already having a few creatures in, still I find it works well enough for me more often than not.
It's a reasonable consideration for an Edgar Markov deck. Not an absolute lock, but the deck does struggle mid-late game, so getting more cast triggers is a good thing.
but I don't want to oversell it.
This went right over my head on the first pass. Nicely done.
It enables infinite turns really easily. That's most of what I'd use it for I guess. Or infinite board wipes.
I think it's a little loose as just a value card, you've got to have a plan to maximize it. And you've got to be pretty heavy on creatures or want to recast your commander a lot, and ideally sac outlets.
I think the main thing limiting these kind of cards these days is how much better graveyard hate has gotten in recent years.

It's good recursion. Just remember, it goes to the hand, because 1B for a reanimator spell with that effect would be insane.

It's definitely okay, but unreliable. Phyrexian Reclamation is usually my go-to for this kind of effect because you aren't hurt as bad by graveyard exile (which is a staple of the format)
Yep, a sacrifice outlet and reanimator at a 2 for 1 value is nuts. So much value for 2B. Sac your Solemn Simulacrum to cantrip, bring yourself back a Gary and a Massacre Wurm, or whatever other nefarious life for death trades sound good.
It is hilariously worded when you consider that if you don’t sacrifice a creature, the spell effectively reads “choose two target creatures in your graveyard.”
I admit that both of these recursive spells have lost a bit of their luster to me as of late with how pushed graveyard hate has been getting. It's been a while since I've drawn a card like this, Patriarch's Bidding, or even Eternal Witness and haven't thought to myself "Man what a dead draw. If only Ashiok wasn't a thing" or "Sure would be great topdeck if only Aminatou couldn't blink lands!"
That said, Victimize is still one of the best reanimation spells to this day. 2 creatures for 3 mana and a token/death trigger is insane and very much another "Of course this came from the Urza Block". Oversold Cemetery....meh. Too slow.

miss glen angus... some of the best lit art in MtG + one of the top illus ever for the game in original mindslaver
You also get Crash, Crush, Boom // Bust, Zap, Flash, and Snap for more onomatopoeia, and for the nonsense/silly names I would add Twiddle, Twitch, Discombobulate, Runeboggle, Befuddle, Trickbind, Bewilder, Hoodwink, Jinx, Ovinize, Pongify, and Turn to Frog. Sounds like a horrible deck... fun, but horrible.

Oversold Cemetery is one of my favorite cards ever. I still run it in a few decks that have sac/recur engines going (namely Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord and Endrek Sahr, Maser Breeder), and it rarely disappoints. One of my favorite competitive decks of all-time also ran Oversold Cemeery: GB Deathcloud during Onslaught-Mirrodin Standard.

Yesterday's graveyard recursion was slow accumulated value. Today's is obscenity all at once. Yes, I would like to sacrifice my Bloodghast for Spirit of the Night and Sheoldred, Whispering One
My fave part of this spell is that the sacrifice is part of the effect, not the cost. Great spell.
