Again, another case of "Of course this is from the Urza Block"
Fun fact, Urza block was enchantment themed... despite officially being known as the "Artifacts Cycle".
Even Urza's association with artifacts would've implied an enchantment theme.
In this format, where artifacts and enchantments tend to be the more powerful permanents, to some extent, this is powerful. The only real defense against it (besides not playing artifacts) is something like Vedalken Orrery and keeping Demonic Pact in your hands. (And you can't use Lich and friends.)

Card advantage is not the same thing as card draw. Something for 2B cannot be strictly worse than something for BBB or 3BB. If you're taking out Swords to Plowshares for Plummet, you're a fool. Stop doing these things!
Apart from taking up a spell slot rather than a land slot a repeatable tutor that is hard to get rid off is good even if it is a tad expensive

It's definitely been the most reliable win condition in my Gitrog deck other than the combo. Gotten me out of a LOT of jams by tutoring up Emrakul or Newlamog.
I think it's pretty underrated in lands strategies in EDH in general, as Eye + the 3-4 good eldrazi is a pretty powerful endgame package (old kozilek, new ulamog, emrakul, and worldbreaker for example).
Sol Lands are good. Sol Lands that can potentially be used multiple times per turn and can also tutor repeatedly are really good, even if both parts are pretty narrow in what they can be used on.

It's like you're talking about Golden Guardian and what an incredible job WotC did giving us a sol land and win con in one. 🤔

"Colorless creature" isn't that narrow. Most of the time you'll be looking for Wurmcoil Engine, Steel Hellkite, Golden Guardian, or the like. Win conditions. The other thing you'll be looking for is Duplicant. Strangely, I don't use it much for Eldrazi outside of Animar.
"Colorless Eldrazi", however, is pretty narrow. But again, most Eldrazi you will play are win conditions in and of themselves.

I remember when Mishra's Workshop got unrestricted in Vintage and the first big deck to come out of that was TnT or "Tools and Tubbies" . Su-Chi was one of the go-to "Tubbies" along with Juggernaut. In Commander, I used it in my Bosh deck for a while as it let me throw it with Bosh and give me mana back to throw something else. It's a good card that can net you mana in sacrifice decks.
This is a 4/4 for four with upside (that was partially a drawback at the time of printing, but still) - unheard-of creature, especially artifact creature, power for its day.
In playing with painter's servant (i know it's banned, but my playgroup thinks it's pretty meek and completely ok), we noticed that it hoses the eye, since it specifically says colourless.

got better with Adapt. I will also say that it is one of those effects that scales really way with things that double counters.
Could be good with the Heroic mechanic too
