Not so long ago I posted on this forum about a deck with Maze's End and Approach of the Second Sun. I had two whole packages thought up and looked to include these in a deck that also did something else. Well, that something never became clear somit never went anywhere. But i've got a new idea: a 5 color Donais style deck. For those unaware, the original deck was created by Mike Donais for 60 card constructed and the basic premise was that it won by decking the opponent through natural draws. Utilizing Gaea's Blessing to recycle his deck the deck's aim was to simply not lose until the opponents decks were depleted. I want to twist this slightly: by playing Pull from Eternity and Riftsweeper and Timespiral (plus maybe one or two variants for redundancy) we csn keep, the game going on forever. We use the time forever gives us to win through Approach of the Second Sun and, if the deck allows it possibly also through Maze's End. So if we assume a decklist thst has 40 lands including the maze and gates, AotSS, PfE, Riftsweeper, Time Spiral and Elixir of Immortslity that leaves 55 slots available to fill with the best cards in all of edh.
I figure this 55 should have a lot of value driven cards in it, but I don't know where to start. How would you fill thrse slots?
Edit: Commander will probably be Ramos.

Sounds like that gods awful UW control deck Ivan Floch won a pro tour with a few years ago. And thats not necessarily praise. It's one thing to be actively milling people or pushing them through their decks like a Nekusar, the Mind-Razer does. But just sitting their with your whole goal to have your deck last more draw steps than theirs is pretty rude to your opponents.
If your goal is to win with second sun, I don’t see why you’d need the game to last forever. In edh control deck terms that’s a pretty fast wincon. Certainly not something that requires a plan to avoid decking. Honestly it sounds like a pretty run-of-the-mill control strategy.
My phelddagrif deck can cause long games (usually 3+ hours if I win, and I usually do) and that can go to natural decking if my opponents are drawing a lot of cards. But if you want to require natural decking to win you’ve gotta play something like skeleton ship since beating down with a commander will generally be a better way to win.
Maybe i'm not lear: I don't want to win through my opponents drawing themselves to death nor by milling. I want to win through either Maze's End or Second Sun but instead of taking a combo approach where you assemble this asap, I want too take a slower route. By setting up the deck with "infinite repeats" I need to dedicate less slots to,it overall and play interactive cards instead.

But why? Both of those are self supporting cards. And both are well suited to being used in control strategies. Approach is literally just one card. And Maze does all the work by itself. Outside of non-basic land ramp the best support for both are card draw and counterspells. Both cards that control decks play plenty of anyway.

cause it is Magic, and doing fun dopey things is what you want to do in magic?
I'm not sayimg not to do fun and dopey things. I'm saying you're not going to end up using all those reshuffle effects. The cards are going to do their things before you end up needing the Elixir effects. You'd just be better off running more amd better control answers. There's goofy and fun amd then there's pointless feelbads. If you were banking on other win cons maybe I'd be more down for your plan. You're going to draw these cards, sigh, and wish you had drawn ANYTHING else. I mean run Niv/M.O.M so that the reshuffle effects actually matter.
