truth, though solemnity begs to be built around, slightly, I'm not sure I'd include it if glacial chasm was the only interaction that benefited from it.
I typically slot this (among other things) into my Oloro Control build when I know there's going to be some broken Commanders at the table. Stopping Narset, Nekuzar or Sigarda decks cold until they remove it often is a huge edge. In many ways it is a blue Nevermore.
No Mecry/Dread are completely useless if you've got an opponent able to one-shot you. They're mostly useless if your opponent is using things like Gift of Immortality or totem armor to protect their commander, too, or if the creature is (or becomes) indestructible.
One aura not mentioned spectral grasp, that makes the voltron still able to attack people around the table, not you. No longer your problem
Then we have blazing archon that says no to creatures attacking you.
Edit: Pariah, depending on power/toughness it might end up the voltron is killing itself if it is attacking you, or use it on other creature as pseudo removal if you get hit of something.
EDH BGU Sidisi, Brood Tyrant - Lurking Zombies. GBG Sapling of Colfenor - Forest Growth and Destruction. RWU Zedruu the Greathearted - Blinking and trading. GWB Teneb the Harvester - Enchantments, you lose life I gain life. RRR Neheb the Eternal - Ping people for mana burn.
Runed Halo can also be a good silver bullet vs voltron commanders. Not much one shotting going on if you have protection. Plus, Zur can find it for you.
But honestly, I think just sliding any creature aura that prevents attacking onto the commander through Zur (which ignores targetting restrictions) might be the best way. Imprisoned in the Moon and Darksteel Mutation are the best I know if you're specifically looking to "lock" a commander on the battlefield. Prison Term is also good, as it also prevents activated abilities from being used and it can actually be used prior to the commander entering the battlefield, as you can just slide it on the commander as soon as it enters play.
Depending on your deck, Divine Presence is another good one if you don't plan to win through combat damage yourself, or at least not large chunks at once. And again, Zur can find it.
I will point out with respect to some of these enchantment-based answers: if you can, block anyway. They can disenchant your answer after you declare no blockers. This is a particular risk with Temporal Isolation because that gives the creature evasion.

Every Zur deck worth it's salt runs Greater Auramancy, which would make that much more difficult to do. Having said that, I agree with you that if your aura is not "protected" and they swing anyway, trying to block is still the best course of action.
