So i watched a video on youtube about five minutes ago and i want to say, O-Kagachi, Vengeful Kami has become far more interesting. As a dragon in my The Ur-Dragon Deck, I can do without. However this guys provides quite an interesting option, being 5 colors I have access to all cards, and the main goal here is to get people to target other players. I feel the est way to do this is to make attacking me rather pointless (or impossible) and to make it far more appealing to target others. How do I want to do this?
Well first off I have 2 creatues I want to look at Gahiji, Honored One and Edric, Spymaster of Trest
These two cards alone can make swinging at an opponent very appealing. In addition cards like No Mercy can deter them from attacking me. O-kagachi also make sit so people do not wish to attack me at risk of me swinging back. To make it impossible to attack me Disrupt Decorum is a very pretty card that will have them swing at each other by force, and at the same time a card Like Assault suit could make them want to attack each other with O-kagachi, as he is big, will be an 8/8 flyer, and if they did attack you (Which this deck is trying to get (or should i say "goad") them to do. Now they also have a big guy to swing with, that has a benefit and if they refuse to attack, well the next opponent will get it and can use it against you.
So I think I might also throw in a bit of a pillowfort package or even just crawlspace to make sure that if they do swing at me, i am not getting hit hard.
My question is, what other cards could i look at that will (Hopefully) encourage people to swing at each other or punished greatly if they swing at me?
I build my O-Kagachi deck exactly around that theme: Check this out
I made a few changes, still planning to update the post but life got in the way so far. Hope this helps you get on your way. The deck is extremely fun to play. Nothing like playing a Disrupt Decorum to follow it up with a Sunblast Angel the turn thereafter

The secret to enjoyable Commander games is not winning first, but losing last.

I really really liked the idea of that sort of retaliatory threat in the command-zone, but the absence of haste on him makes it seems so bad. Assuming it isn't already in play, there isn't much threat when the opponent has two turns to deal with the dragon.
I can see many games where, after the dragon resolves, it gets removed or the opponents do something else to try and win the game.
I think a deck wanting to take advantage of the retaliatory effect O-Kagachi offers will need to have a bunch of haste enablers. More than just swiftfoot boots and lightning greaves. A deck that has stuff like fires of yavimaya and fervor if it is loaded with creatures, or cards like accelerate and crimson wisps if it is more spell-based.
Personally, since the commander offers this atmosphere of "don't screw with me" - I like the surprise spell haste effects. Something like scout's warning and savage summoning would be fantastic here
Alongside Gahiji and Edric, you've got Gisela. We had a game once where each of those was a general, and we turned to the fourth player and said "I guess you're screwed."

The biggest problem I have with O-Kagachi is that it will encourage deckbuilding and playstyles that lead to 1-shot wins/kills. I suppose it spares you from ambient damage once it's set up, but it does nothing to stop / ward off infinite combos / 1-shot voltron / Craterhoof Behemoth. I suppose at least with the Craterhoof example, the effect might stop you from dropping low enough where Craterhoof is a threat to you some of the time.
I guess what I'm saying is that it seems very highly matchup/meta dependent and I would strongly consider how you plan to disrupt opponents that are trying to kill you outside of combat or with huge chunks of damage, which, to be quite honest are the decks you should be worried about the most anyway in my opinion. But again, it depends on the kinds of decks you feel you're likely to encounter.
But otherwise I agree with above the issue is people will 1 shot you or use you to draw themseleves into a table killing combo.
That is the same reason that just playing a propaganda/ghostly prison in your deck isn't really that strong, annoying sure but if someone really wants to kill you, they will pay what they need to to kill you. It only becomes real nasty when you stack them. Sphere of safety and Collective Restraint are a little stronger versions of them.

my old pw deck had people having to pay upwards of 20 mana to swing at me/my pws.
i wonder if Fogs are worth running. I ean it would also deter people form swinging at me if they swing and I fog, they may wory about a second fog. At the same time, I can use it as a political strategy fogging to save someone else.
A fog can be efficient, but they're very niche and therefore very bad as they only do one thing: prevent you from taking damage and only do it one time. A board wipe of any kind removes threats entirely. Even something like Reins of Power has added utility outside of protecting you.
A fog does nothing to stop the one player from assembling some infinite combo or drawing half their deck with Consecrated Sphinx (which likely also draws into a counter for your fog).
If your whole meta is creature-based, a fog might be ok. I wouldn't run more than two, but they both better do more than Fog. If your meta is actually that creature-heavy, I'd take a look at Master Warcraft which is a card you can use to kill two armies at once but also fogs in a pinch when you know you would be targeted anyway. Dawn Charm and Teferi's Protection are also probably better than Angelsong if your meta and deck actually benefit from tossing a card to gain some life. Moment's Peace is not bad if you can loot it away reliably.

The whole premise behind O-Kagachi, Vengeful Kami is to gain multiple activation's of his exile trigger through double strike and additional combat phases as well as giving him flash in order to ambush your opponents into exiling one of their nonland permanents. Unfortunately you don't have much of a way to prevent your opponents from one shotting you unless you're able to one shot them first.

Yes, that is exactly my problem with it. O-Kagachi encourages 1-shot burst play style from your opponents. Then when your other opponents are trying to beat their neighbors, they'll be dragged into that arms race too. It really comes down to the players you regularly play with, I suppose.

I think you guys are approaching this from the wrong way. I have an O-Kagachi rattlesnake deck and my main focus of the deck, which usually works out, is to be the last one left standing with one, maybe two opponents left. Then you run cards like Illusionist's Gambit, Comeuppance, Deflecting Palm, Disrupt Decorum and/or Master Warcraft in order to prevent / deflect such blowouts and score the game.
Turn X: I attack and kill opponent 1, then cast Disrupt Decorum or use Master Warcraft to have one alpha strike the other.
Turn X+1: Opponents are creatures are tapped out and at least one ended up low on life. I attack and kill the opponent low on life, then cast Sunblast Angel or wait and cast Angel of the Dire Hour when my one remaining opponent attacks me. Now he has little to no creatures left.
Turn X+2: Attack and kill opponent 3.
Sequences like this are very common, and the cards used may vary but generally speaking, as soon as board states are filled, this deck is going to end it all, and in a few turns.

If you don't have Seedborn Muse on the battlefield for being able to flash stuff in with Vedalken Orrery or Leyline of Anticipation almost every turn then you're at a terrible disadvantage.
That being said I definitely like your approach and might get around to testing it out eventually even though it does seem a bit mana intensive. I've always felt that cards like Master Warcraft and Imps' Taunt which serves a similar purpose felt like dead cards in hand early to mid game unless I'm getting some extra use out of it like cycling Imaginary Threats to potentially draw something better. I guess what I'm trying to say is that it's usually better to run cards that are good in any scenario instead of just being limited to early, mid, or late game.

Not seen them mentioned but the 5 legendary Kamigawa dragons are both a flavour and theme win. Keiga, the Tide Star and Yosei, the Morning Star have been my favorite and of the 5 Jugan, the Rising Star is probably the weakest and certainly the hardest to cast.

Funny you mention Sword of Feast and Famine cause I recently stumbled upon an infinite combo with it using Aggravated Assault to discard your opponents' hands with infinite attacks. Unfortunately it doesn't work with Nature's Will since O-Kagachi, Vengeful Kami would have protection from green while equipped with Sword of Feast and Famine. Pretty hilarious If you're able to get it off though not nearly as annoying as being on the receiving end of an Overloaded Cyclonic Rift.
I made a lot of changes to my O-Kagachi, Vengeful Kami deck since I wasn't running enough mana rocks to get explosive starts early to mid game not to mention the lack of board wipes/spot removal to keep the board state in check. I learned that the hard way when I played against an Aggro Ramos, Dragon Engine deck that won on turn 6 getting all three Nicol Bolas Planeswalkers on board with infinite Dragon tokens while casting free spells with Sunbird's Invocation.
Almost lost a EDH/Commander game for forgetting to use flashback on Seize the Day with O-Kagachi, Vengeful Kami while one of my opponents was wide open for attack and even though it wasn't that big of a misplay I still managed to win. Managed to beat Yisan, the Wanderer Bard by equipping Conqueror's Flail on O-Kagachi, Vengeful Kami while giving him double strike with Wrecking Ogre for Bloodrush which I eventually took out for something better since I already had enough cards granting my Commander double strike and additional combat phases.

Why would it not work with nature's will? Nature's will is not an enchant creature. It works with ANY and ALL creatures you control. The fat that is green doe snot mean Kagachi is protected form it.
Protection means it cannot be targeted or damaged by "Whatever it has protection from) If it is enchanted by a color and gains protection from that color the enchantment falls off. Universal effects that can hit it (Without targeting) can still ht it. (If you are pro white you can still get killed by a Wrath of God)

For white rattlesnake cards, you've got Lieutenant Kirtar, Soul Snare, Michiko Konda, Truth Seeker, etc. Stalking Leonin could be a soft rattlesnake that plays head games. In black, you've got Dread, No Mercy, Teysa, Envoy of Ghosts, as well as weaker stuff like Hissing Miasma and Marchesa's Decree. The other colors have a few rattlesnake cards, but usually not as strong as the WB ones. The attack curses can also be used to encourage swinging at someone else.

As far as rattlesnake effects go I've yet to experiment with Ready // Willing which seems like a solid combat trick for whenever my opponents attack me. Basandra, Battle Seraph, Imaginary Threats, Chemister's Trick, and Walking Desecration I've all found to be really good for getting his exile activation to go off more consistently. Strionic Resonator I've mainly found to be too slow for this sort of build.

True, but with As Foretold, Sword of Feast and Famine, Seedborn Muse and Awakening you are able to develop your board AND have mana open for a response. I'm still looking to fit in Bear Umbra and Nature's Will for even more of this.

Nature's will will trigger if kagachi gets through, with or without Sword of feast and famine.
