Ok, so I'm sure this is a terrible idea. But, here's the deal. I was going through my cards, and I came across <c>Faerie Noble<c>. One of the only lords for the far. Now, I've been looking for some ideas for a Faerie commander deck. But, everything I see is B/U Oona. Or, something in that vein. My question is, can a fairly decent far deck be built? Googling fae in MTG comes up with a few options in almost every color, except red. Your thoughts?
There is one red faerie, but that's besides the point. As far as other commander options go, Wydwen, the Biting Gale is in Oona's colors but features a different kind of playstyle, Vendilion Clique is a powerful mono-blue option, and Rubinia Soulsinger at least gives you other color options.
If you care more about finding a commander for a Sultai faerie deck rather than just matching creature types, Damia, Sage of Stone is a powerful control commander, though other options do venture away from the fae deck strategy. Leovold, Emissary of Trest would be perfect if he weren't banned.
I have a faerie tribal deck. The tricky thing is that there really aren't that many useful faeries. And they're mostly small. So you have to find ways to win despite the fact that most of your creatures will be outclassed most of the time. It's definitely an interesting deck building challenge, especially if you are strict about the tribal theme.
The Mimeoplasm is a faerie, if your willing to exile faeries from your yard.

Pretty sure OP was looking for a green commander.
