a three headed T-rex that has so many edh situation abilities the ETB
viligance so its prepared for blocking all day long
Reach for those pesky flyers
Trample for heavy damage since its a 9/9
and heres the best part if you successful cast him and he made it to the field we get to untap all of are lands like getting a extra turn or we can use his abilites he has on each head
lets talk the abilities R just equip Basilisk Collar then the text changes to "Destory target creature." G this is hands down the most important part these are always the most annoying on the board W Unfortunately its the worst one but if we do some lifegain synergy abilites on stuff then it will come in handy
vrey good upgrade the edh deck will become immensly better from this.
still a few stuff missing but a ton of the blanks got filled up
I loved the ability to do stupid Enrage tricks before, but this set kicks it into overdrive then pours gasoline on it and then sends it into space.
- Polyraptor gets out of control real fast.
- Silverclad Ferocidons, Trapjaw Tyrant, and Needletooth Raptor will quickly decimate the opponent's board.
- Forerunner of the Empire is a great enabler despite not being a dinosaur. It can get pretty sick with Polyraptor or an indestructible Raptor Hatchling, possibly infinite.
- Temple Altisaur might be overkill, but it does let us run damage-based removal like Starstorm and keep our board alive. It also makes any X/2 dinosaur impossible to kill in combat to keep mooching enrage triggers off of them.
- The most important card, however, is Cacophodon. Alongside Pyrohemia or Fire Ants, which should be in every Dinos deck, this card can deal continual damage, generate tons of enrage triggers, and possibly even come out ahead on mana (if you use Gruul Turf, Gaea's Cradle, or Gilded Lotus to fuel the Pyrohemia or have a Mirari's Wake out or something). If you have a way to protect Cacophodon, you can make this truly infinite. Possibilities to do this are to use Rite of Passage (added bonus, protects all your creatures and makes them arbitrarily large), Bellowing Aegisaur (not infinite without a way to protect the Aegisaur, possibly doubling up on it with Mirage Mirror or Mirror of the Forebears, but will earn you +4/+4 per turn to the whole team), or make it indestructible (with Eldrazi Monument or Avacyn, Angel of Hope being preferred as they are global, but Kindred Boon, Shielded by Faith, Darksteel Plate, Heroic Intervention, and Boros Charm all being possible). If you are coming out ahead on mana, Broken Fall/Molting Skin/Asceticism/any aura that grants regen will also keep the engine running. But even without the engine running to infinity, just having say Cacophodon + Ripjaw Raptor + Pyrohemia out is pretty strong.
The key heart of Dinosaur decks, regardless of Commander, is the following in my opinion:
This is a great backbone to a deck. If your are running Gisath as the commander you can just load up on powerful dinosaurs and library manipulation, while Zacama will want to get loaded to bear with Deathtouch, Haste, voltron enablers, and big mana cheating cards as well as shenanigans like Temur Sabertooth and Warstorm Surge, but either way you can now do powerful and unfair things to keep up with other EDH decks and tribes.

Just cards I'm thinking of adding in (note I'm a Timmy/Vorthos so I'd rather at times go with cool and flavor over gameplay);
Zetalpa, Primal Dawn- A flying beat stick dino thats hard to get rid of is always nice Majestic Heliopterus- As said before it's of imperial aerosaur for the trigger and its repeatable. This can end games. Temple Altisaur- A good way to enable your enrage dino without worrying about them dying Trapjaw Tyrant- Good removal, might take out either Banishing Light or Oblivion Ring but I'm unsure and might keep all three Etali, Primal Storm- Gonna replace Burning Sun's Avatar, this guy is nuts and get have some fun casting your opponents stuff Frilled Deathspitter- with the additions of higher mana cost dinos, I think I'm going to take out Sun-Crown Raptors Forerunner of the Empire- Tutors dinos and can enable enrage (the may ability is sweet) Silverclad Ferocidons- Red removed is great. In general I love enrage of less of a johnny combo thoughts and more of a threat. Damage my stuff and your stuff with get blown up. Ghalta, Primal Hunger- Big beautiful beater. I see this coming out most times around 6-7 Wayward Swordtooth, Knight of the Stampede and Path of Discovery all help for ramping up. I have a lot of ramp already so I debating if to add or replaces this guys in. The Swordtooth is nice just for the land boost and being a cheap dino, the Knight is just sweet and fits into a cycle with the other two cost reducers and I've really wanted to test out explore more for both ramp and create boosting. Also need to know if I can officially run Regal Behemoth. Polyraptor- This can't be killed by damage or creattures just keeps replacing itself. Also this plus Forerunner and Bellowing Aegisaur is evil. Atzocan Seer- Same issues with the other mana dork/rampers but it has recursion and you can tap it for mana then sac it for a dino to cast so pretty good late game. Zacama, Primal Calamity- Very flexible. Can attack, block, snap up flyers, ramp up for a turn, great for enchantment removal, creature revile and oh a little life gain. I also enjoying having different commanders for my decks just to change things up so alternative for commander if I get bored with Gishath.
One the fence about (feedback welcome too)
The mana dorks above (mostly if I should use them all) Charging Tuskodon- Seems sneaky powerful Cherished Hatchling- Like enrage I like this as a threat but unsure if I'd wanna hold back on maybe flashing in a dino Siegehorn Ceratops- A cheap dino that can grow over time. Just not sure if it could last long enough to get bigger though. Snubhorn Sentry-a one drop dino that can turn into a 3/3. But is turn 1 0/3 worth it?

Rumor has it when rivals of ixalan gets released another errate to dinosaur creature type wav
If these creatures get golden tickets they should be but in
I'd say 90% of this is the core for a Marath enrage deck I've got penciled out. I like many of the new RIX dinos, but I'm worried about being way too top heavy to go all-in on the dino tribal. Starting with a solid Marath core, a sampling of the better enraged dinos, plus stuff like this could be a fun deck.
Then again it could be those rookie players that always get this wrong you don't focus on a opponent you focus on yourself and your goal of your deck.
If someone put Gishath in the same category as Kozilek, Meren or Oloro, "rookie" is a very generous term to describe them.
Ganging up Gishath sounds very redundant, a couple of removal spells are enoough to extremely slow him down
Wpworse than that
I was in the worst board state and one person was attacking me all because I killed his/hers (it was online) stormscape familiar
It was to reduce Card atvantage and also to trigger a enrage ability
I'm surprised at the lack of love for Magmasaur in this thread. He can wipe the board of toughness 5 or less creatures, or you can let it get smaller and later use it to trigger Enrage. It's slow but flexible.
Rivals of ixalan update has arrived we now have 28 new dinosaurs to choose from
first up is enrage it uset to only be 8
as of Rivals of ixalan now its 17 enrange thanks to these guys
so its easier focusing on enrage now
next we have the elder dinosaurs the red is by far the best one for edh situations
red = spell stealer
green = the biggest dinosaur that's easy to cast
White = A dinosaur version of Akroma, Angel of Wrath basicly
so without further ado heres the other Dinosaurs
alot of good ones to add to the deck excluding the vinilla's anyway
next up the non-dinosaur helpers
would have added Thunderherd Migration but no need just put in Rampant Growth
and now the best for last
Zacama, Primal Calamity
a three headed T-rex that has so many edh situation abilities the ETB
viligance so its prepared for blocking all day long

Enrage dudes:
Polyraptor
SiegeHorn Ceratops
Silverclad Ferocidons
Trapjaw Tyrant
Haven't looked at the others yet. Caltrops and Polyraptor looks fun.

The key heart of Dinosaur decks, regardless of Commander, is the following in my opinion:
2 Raptor Hatchling
2 Siegehorn Ceratops
3 Fire Ants
3 Ranging Raptors
4 Cacophodon
4 Forerunner of the Empire
4 Needletooth Raptor
4 Ripjaw Raptor
5 Trapjaw Tyrant
6 Bellowing Aegisaur
7 Silverclad Ferocidons
8 Polyraptor
3 Fires of Yavimaya
3 Rite of Passage
4 Pyrohemia
5 Asceticism
5 Mirari's Wake
Artifacts: 2
2 Mirror of the Forebears
5 Eldrazi Monument
2 Boros Charm
2 Heroic Intervention

BIG maybe;
Huatli, Radiant Champion - For flavor but she doesn't really work with the deck.
"You can tell how dumb someone is by how they use Mary Sue"
And I wen really deep
And I found some stuff that never got thought of for enrage enabling
Caltrops is incredible keeping 1/1 weenies at bay and triggers enrage
With the help of Temple Atlisaur these are possible
Rumor has it when rivals of ixalan gets released another errate to dinosaur creature type wav
If these creatures get golden tickets they should be but in
Oh and to make sure no counter spells happen particularly zacama, primal calamity we have these
And of coarse at long last this land has a home and not so sticky for this decks case.
Sorrow's Path
I'd say 90% of this is the core for a Marath enrage deck I've got penciled out. I like many of the new RIX dinos, but I'm worried about being way too top heavy to go all-in on the dino tribal. stuff
The deck I see better no question about that
But I think because of the upgrades Gishath, Sun's avatar is now in the category of these guys
What they all have in commons are the ones that everyone gangs up on you (hate you) all because of who your playing.
It happened like 5 times in a row so far ever since the upgrades when I was play testing him.
Then again it could be those rookie players that always get this wrong you don't focus on a opponent you focus on yourself and your goal of your deck.
Wpworse than that

we got 4 more dinosaurs to choose from
https://magic.wizards.com/en/articles/archive/news/rivals-ixalan-oracle-changes-2018-01-11
Regal Behemoth is a must for this deck you get card draw and double dip mana and its the only one that does rainbow as the second one
Beating Face with Bane
Beatrice, the Golden Witch
Since indestructablity and recursion is the missing factor what could we use to fill in the blank?

This is definitely not conclusive because the vanillas are in so many decks we need rivals of ixalan to breath in first.
But first thing isn't we were all wrong about Atzocan Seer they are using him in the deck for recursion purposes and mana purposes.
