I would love to put Zada, Hedron Grinder in this deck with some targeted draw effects, but it will probably not be good enough with the lack of reliable tutors in these colors.
Interesting idea, consider there's no lack of creatures to spread the targets around, not to mention cards like Expedite would draw card and add even more locusts into play, but you're right, unless there's a reliable way to get Zada into play and keep her there, those kind of cards would have minimal impact.
Not quite sure I'm following the hype for Intruder Alarm. What good would it let us do exactly?
Mana Drain would be even more obnoxious in this deck than it usually is. Pass turn two with UU up, swallow up someone's Cultivate, turn three locust friend. Or just a bigger X in a draw spell or something. Hoping they reprint it soon.

Basically, the deck can utilize a lot of creatures who tap themselves to draw us cards or some other effect. Things like Bonded Fetch and Niv-Mizzet, the Firemind, to name two. Remember, The Locust God gives us a 1/1 insect every time we draw. So it would go like this:
1. Have Locust God, Intruder Alarm and Bonded Fetch out. Tap Bonded Fetch and draw a card.
2. Locust gives you an Insect which causes Intruder Alarm to activate. All creatures, including Bonded Fetch, untap.
3. Tap Bonded Fetch again to draw another card and repeat steps 1 & 2 over again.
Hence, we get an easy way to get CA and build an army to work with. With that simple setup, we can so much done. We could draw ourselves out with Laboratory Maniac or produce enough tokens to kill the rest of the board with things Purphoros, God of the Forge, Impact Tremors or Furystoke Giant. Yeah, it helps out our opponents to but because of how our general works, we can get so much more mileage out of the Alarm than the rest of the table, more often then not.
Few Additions I havent seen mentioned but I plan to run...
Firestorm(The damage and efficiency is too good to pass up)
Kyren Negotiations(Put those tokens on double duty)
Seismic Assault(Gonna be wheeling a bunch anyhow. With Library of Leng Triggers this gets tons of fun)
Krenko, Mob Boss(Not directly tied to the general but youre already running several combos with him)
Azami, Lady of Scrolls(so many wizards in this deck)
Conflagrate/Incendiary Command( wheel effect plus Alternate win con and possible swarm removal verse opponents strategies)
Chandra Flamecaller(See Above)
Commit//Memory(Counter/Draw7+Library Reset)
Jushi Apprentice(Easy Flip in this deck)
I also run almost all the manlands as a means of getting infinite mana with Intruder Alarm.
I'd strongly recommend running draw replacement abilities with The Locust God for when you're going up against Nekusar, the Mindrazer with the following cards:
"Restriction breeds creativity." - Sheldon Menery on EDH / Commander in Magic: The Gathering
"Cancel Culture is the real reason why everyone's not allowed to have nice things anymore." - Anonymous
"For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul?" - Mark 8:36
"Most men and women will grow up to love their servitude and will never dream of revolution." - Aldous Huxley, Brave New World
"Every life decision is always a risk / reward proposition." - Sanjay Gupta
While I wouldn't recommend it if you have infinite budget, Ceta Sanctuary is a budget Monastery Siege with only the khans mode in this deck.

Card advantage is not the same thing as card draw. Something for 2B cannot be strictly worse than something for BBB or 3BB. If you're taking out Swords to Plowshares for Plummet, you're a fool. Stop doing these things!
I like intruder alarm but for all that maybe paradox engine as it can untap mana rocks in addition, and can potentially infinite draw with SDTop, that being said however, Intruder Alwarm is also 3 mana as opposed to 5 and that does matter.Altar of the brood I found to be fairly effective, as it triggers an insane amount in this deck. I like the wheel effects quite a lot. The wheels work well in tandem with Locust God, Ahhmaret's Archive, Psychosis crawler, Porphoros, God of the Forge, and Niv Mizzet 1.0. By wheeling you get minor disruption, direct damage and Locust tokens. I was tempted to put sweepers in the deck aside from the classic Cyclonic Rift, but it hurts the strategy way too much. If I have card drawing permanents, tokens etc I will push to finish the game fast instead of slow it down by nuking my boardstate. This deck needs boardstate the way I constructed it, so I would rather try and catch up or counterspell mass removal.

Huh. As someone on a budget I wasn't aware that one might need a budget version of a $.40 card.
LOL I was thinking more of how I've put TLG in my own Animar, which does run Ceta and Siege (which I got at a DTK draft) and not actually checking price at the time. Total derp.
