Heritage Druid in elves. Any number of effects that grant tap abilities to creatures or ask you to tap as cost such as aforementioned Cryptolith Rite, or convoke cards like Chord of Calling
I play it in Prossh, Skyraider of Kher. With Doubling Season and the other usual suspects. With Earthcraft and Cryptolith Rite you can generate serious mana tapping down everything you control and thinning the deck of every basic land. Tapping all the lands, but having shields up with creatures let's you use Calming Verse profitably.
I'm planning to add it to my Edric, Spymaster of Trest deck. I'm typically attacking with 5-10 evasive creatures, so it should do significant deck thinning.
Card advantage is not the same thing as card draw. Something for 2B cannot be strictly worse than something for BBB or 3BB. If you're taking out Swords to Plowshares for Plummet, you're a fool. Stop doing these things!
I'm running it in a Rishkar, Peema Renegade deck that seeks to squeeze the most possible in mono-green out of mass tapping of creatures, including Throne of the God-Pharaoh. I haven't actually seen it in a live game yet, though.
Rude Awakening. Got eight lands out? Cast your Rude Awakening and entwine it. Follow it up by tapping all eight lands. Then cast your Harvest Season. Congratulations, you now have sixteen tapped lands and five floating mana.
I really can't stress how scary this can be in Wort. I have a budget Wort deck that can easily drop every basic in the deck, and Harvest Season is definitely a key part of that, especially with spells like Reverberate, which can also be doubled.
One of the craziest things I've ever done with Harvest Season was probably:
Nope. The deck runs 28 basics, six of which were already on the field by the time I resolved to that. Thankfully Harvest Season's phrasing (up to X basic lands) meant that I could resolve all six copies, simply choosing to find only two basics with the last resolution.

That phrasing is not required. The card instructs you to search your library for a card with some specified quality. Any time you search a hidden zone for cards with some quality, you are permitted to fail to find any cards with that quality, even if cards with the quality exist.
Besides elves, druids, and CIPT zombies, how do you break this card?
By "break," I mostly mean: How do you consistently make this card yank more lands out of your deck than Kodama's Reach/Cultivate?
Thanks!

One of the craziest things I've ever done with Harvest Season was probably:
1) Cast Howl of the Horde with Raid enabled.
2) Conspire it.
3) Cast Harvest Season
4) Conspire it.
5) Resolve six copies of Harvest Season, with four creatures tapped (One from the original casting, one from being conspired, two from the original Howl of the Horde, two from the copied Howl of the Horde).
