I've ordered Rubinia Soulsinger as a new commander. What I've found so far is that she's effective in flicker decks. I want to build a flicker/control deck, with creature sac if possible, but I also want some big green creatures for brute force. I would really like them to have ETB effects for other creatures. I know hydras often have ETB +1/+1s, but I would need a way to move those counters then flicker the hydra. What cards should I look for?
I'm not looking to spend much here, hence the sub $1 commander lol.
If you're planning a recursive ETB creature deck featuring green, I'll throw out my buddy Temur Sabertooth. I don't know how he'd perform in a Bant shell, but in my mono-green creature decks he's been back-breaking for my opponents, especially at helping me dodge Wrath of God effects and then replay my ETB creatures on my turn. EDIT: since you're in white, Eerie Interlude (cheap) and Ghostway (~$5) can perform this sort of role as well, perhaps even better than the kitties (or in addition to).
Also, I know that Rubina has a creature theft ability, so I do want to mention the best sac outlets in green: Greater Good (expensive) and Evolutionary Leap (cheap).
If you go the Astral Slide route, Tilling Treefolk is excellent for returning cycling lands. Slide doesn't synergize with Rubinia but it does support a general blink theme.
Funny thing with Rubinia; Conjurer's Closet will blink whatever creature you steal, and then you'll keep the creature even if you untap Rubinia. Deadeye Navigator does the same but he requires a bit more work in comparison with his usual shenanigans.
As far as fatties and the likes go; Prime Speaker Zegana is pretty cheap money-wise these days and a mouth-wateringly good blink target. Phyrexian Ingester is usually a worse but bigger Duplicant, so that's an option as well. Sphinx of Uthuun is an absolutely fantastic card in lower-powered metas, so that's worth a thought. None of those should run you a lot of money, I think Zegana is the priciest of the bunch and she's listed at below $1 on TCGMid.

My Commander decks:
Chandra, Torch of Defiance - Oops! All Chandras.
Prime Speaker Zegana - Draw for Power.
Pir & Toothy - Counterpalooza.
Arcades, the Strategist - Another Brick in the Wall.
Zacama, Primal Calamity - Calamity of Double Mana.
Edgar Markov - Vampires Don't Die.
Child of Alara - Dreamcrusher.
Thanks for the replies everyone, and I apologize for not responding sooner. As I've built this deck I really feel like I should focus a bit more on creature sac to make Rubinia have more presence.
I don't know if Acidic Slime counts as "big", but it's basically free money-wise and can be devastating to flicker.
Funny you should mention that; that card is what caused my loss when I last played my Sydri artifact deck. I hadSydri, Galvanic Genius paired with Caltrops but my opponent used Acidic Slime to destroy Caltrops and I was short one mana for my counterspell.

Avenger of Zendikar seems obvious and isn't too expensive. Other bombs that help dominating the board are Luminate Primordial, Duplicant and the likes.
I'd advice you to check out Roon of the Hidden Realm and Brago, King Eternal decklists, because of the color overlap and overall blink focus.
If you just want "big green creature with an ETB effect", there's tons. Regal Force (~$2), Bane of Progress (~$2), Terastodon (cheap), Craterhoof Behemoth (~$12), Ulvenwald Hydra (~$2), Woodfall Primus (~$10), Brutalizer Exarch (cheap). I don't know if Acidic Slime counts as "big", but it's basically free money-wise and can be devastating to flicker. If you're looking for things on the lower end of the mana scale, Eternal Witness (~$5) and Reclamation Sage (cheap), are fantastic.

I got Profaner of the Dead, Eerie Interlude, and Alhammarret, High Arbiter from a LGS today. I also pulled a Sandwurm Convergence from a pack, figured it might be of some use. Thoughts?
