It does have its limits, obviously you'll have to get it into the graveyard first and then be lucky enough not to be hit by the ever present Tormod's Crypt, Bojuka Bog, Ravenous Trap, Rakdos Charm and others...
I'd say in rather casual playgroups this is a pretty cool card, i really like the card tech.
It really depends on the color access and usage if it can make the cut. As an unblockable enabler i'd propably pick Filth + Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth over it, for Wrath protection Counterspells are obviously more surprising.
Bottom line, it's a very decent filler card but it would propably never make a final deck list of mine.
I love Glory but sadly I cut it from my Asmira. It's saved me many times in that deck and others, but it's a bit slow if you're leaning toward competitive play. (My Asmira deck isn't true cEDH, obviously, but include similar elements like the Boonweaver Giant combo, soon to be replaced by Protean Hulk.)
Because protection to a color is not as good as giving your cards hexproof
The mana cost to activate is high enough that this is too late game of a card for me
GY hate is numerous in the format and I don't want to add more reasons to murder my GY
On 1, I disagree. You can use the evasion sometimes. Or just choose black before activating Pestilence or red before casting Earthquake or activating Jaya Ballard, Task Mage or something like that. (Actually, come to think of it, this would be a good way to break Diaochan, Artful Beauty. Your hexproof can't do that.) The flipside, however, is that any auras or equipments off that color drop off (though of course, this can be a good thing itself, e.g. Arrest), and if you have, e.g., pro-green, you can't do something like Might of Oaks.
The mana cost is too high. And that evasion doesn't stop artifact creatures, facedowns, most Eldrazi, or sliver tokens. It serves multiple functions, of which one (untargetability) hexproof is (generally) better.

Card advantage is not the same thing as card draw. Something for 2B cannot be strictly worse than something for BBB or 3BB. If you're taking out Swords to Plowshares for Plummet, you're a fool. Stop doing these things!
I run it in ephara, god of the polis, it usually gets buckets of mana to be able to afford the high activation cost due to never missing a land drop, and it has very occasionally single-handedly won me the game. It also quite often forces opponents to blow their tutors for graveyard hate the moment it hits the grave, so even though it often gets removed rather quickly it still accomplishes quite a lot.
- 3/3 flyer for five is limited stats.
- Protections value will vary game to game.
- Needs a way to be put into the yard first.
Honestly is say its lack of play is based on protection not being very good in many situations. In most of the spots I would want protection I want it to blank removal on a single target. In which case Mother of Runes and Eight and-a-half Tails are probably better. Off the top of my head Blasphemous Act is the only time this will be good for protecting your guys. But most of the time since board wipes are generally not damage based this won't do the job. The place where it shines would be in more aggressive, likely monowhite weenie, strats where you lack good ways of getting damage through blockers otherwise.
I often think of it as a game-ender: Activate it and swing. However, so many people run so many colors now (and value artifact creatures) that going just pro-green won't cover everything for an alpha strike. I always throw it into Radiant lists...that I rarely build.
I play Glory in my Eight-and-a-Half-Tails EDH deck. It's on theme with my other cards and opponents tend to forget about it sitting in the graveyard. It's awesome to activate Glory in response to Blasphemous Act.
Niche... but one of my favorites!

It can still be useful in Saskia: It doesn't eliminate all blockers, just some of them.

Glory shines in a deck with lots of mill and/or looting effects. I used to run it my Dakkon Blackblade Planar Birth deck.
I need to find another deck to put it in; it doesn't really fit any of my current ones.
