I'm working on a Chandra, Fire of Kaladesh Commander deck that is Burn-Centric. Would Bitter Feud be a good addition in order to make burn spells more effective in a format with 40 life?
All Bitter Feud has done in games I have played is get both players targeted by it gunning for the caster; if you are considering it as another Curse of Bloodletting, with yourself and one opponent being the targets...
Ouch.
As an aside, my experience with Fire Servant is that it always dies before doubling anything. That could be me or my deck, though, but if cuts are needed, that guy is one to look at.
Cheers!

Card advantage is not the same thing as card draw. Something for 2B cannot be strictly worse than something for BBB or 3BB. If you're taking out Swords to Plowshares for Plummet, you're a fool. Stop doing these things!
Bitter feud works in two scenarios in my experience.
1. Put it on yourself and the last remaining player, or while in the middle of the game put it one the control/lifegain deck, as the others at the table will agree on your priority and those decks don't really push damage to your face quite often.
2. In an archenemy scenario it is possible to give the green beatdown deck double damage against the archenemy. But this only works if the green dude is first after your turn.
So a summary, i prefer it to furnace of rath if you only need the double damage to kill one of the opponents as playing furnance in a green heavy group has a tendency to backfire. Other than this its uses are pretty narrow, and i have frequently found myself sandbagging the card beause it either isn't doing enough or playing it would be political suicide.
Bitter Feud just doesn't measure up, in my experience.
Jalira, Master Polymorphist | Endrek Sahr, Master Breeder | Bosh, Iron Golem | Ezuri, Renegade Leader
Brago, King Eternal | Oona, Queen of the Fae | Wort, Boggart Auntie | Wort, the Raidmother
Captain Sisay | Rhys, the Redeemed | Trostani, Selesnya's Voice | Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord
Gisela, Blade of Goldnight | Obzedat, Ghost Council | Niv-Mizzet, the Firemind | Vorel of the Hull Clade
Uril, the Miststalker | Prossh, Skyraider of Kher | Nicol Bolas | Progenitus
Ghave, Guru of Spores | Zedruu the Greathearted | Damia, Sage of Stone | Riku of Two Reflections
Ouch.

The real question you have to ask is, how many burn spells are more like Lightning Bolt and how many are more like Soul's Fire?
If more or like Soul's Fire, Gratuitous Violence is what you need. If more are like Lightning Bolt, Fire Servant and Pyromancer's Goggles, though the latter is just awesome when she flips.
