GMR21=OYS, I know you.
Salt is part of the game. Deal with it.
One time I was playing in a four-player pod and one opponent was totally screwed on lands. I made a deal that I would target him with a future draw spell if he split my Fact or Fiction 5 cards vs 0. Then I cast Compulsive Research... and drew three cards. He got pretty salty and scooped. In my defense, I genuinely thought the spell didn't target.
Usually I think I'm one of the cooler heads at the table, and if things don't go my way I'm able to just laugh it off.

I can only recall one time I did that, and it was to keep the board balanced after I left(no lie):
Playing against a few decks, one of which was heavy black, with my Merieke Ri Berit. The B player was laying down some permanents, and then cast Gary for what would have been near lethal for the rest of us. I consider things quickly, then cast Gather Specimens to hit the table for FAR less than it would have for the other guy. Everyone asked why I did that since I wasn't going to be able to keep it long, and I said, "I just didn't want the other guy to get all that life." He was a little salty over that, but understood and agreed with the strategy behind it.
I think I wrathed once or twice when I kept getting screwed in the early days, but that doesn't usually happen anymore.
I think my extent is on the degree of 'okay, will die this combat but I'll kill your most valuable creature before I do' kind of kingmaker.

I don't think I have ever done a spite-scoop. I have left a few games after it became clear that one of my opponents had it out for me and wouldn't stop attacking me, regardless of board state.
I knew a player who used Dimensional Breach + scoop as his middle finger of choice.
Showed up at an old LGS and sat down across this fella known as the local "troll". He was running Kozilek, Butcher of Truth as his commander, his deck was basically artifact combo.
We were about to start a 1v1 and so I was going to use a BU 1v1 deck I made that is led by Sygg, River Guide.
These three guys came in and saw we were about to play and wanted to join. The troll and I agreed to a 5v5 with the three buddies that came in together.
I immediately suspected the 3 guys weren't going to honor a 5v5 and sure enough at a point where the troll was amassing an Eldrazi/Artifact army the three amigos all started piling on him. I was last in the turn order and the troll took his turn right before me so the three amigos had quite a situation with 3 turns in a row to attack. The Kozilek deck's situation was out of the three amigo's control because they were all running aggro and had no removal, which I was happily holding onto while they were distracted.
The three amigos asked me to start interfering with the Kozilek player but I didn't feel threatened by what I was seeing from that player and so instead I decided to hit all three of the buddies for lethal commander damage with Sygg, River Guide one after another. They squirmed and got pretty vocal but I felt no shame in it. It irked them so bad that they couldn't finish off the Kozilek player... they ended up leaving the shop!
I think my extent is on the degree of 'okay, will die this combat but I'll kill your most valuable creature before I do' kind of kingmaker.
Same. If I'm going to die but can get a little bit of revenge on my killer with a removal spell or similar, I'll do it. But I'm not going to screw up the entire game by using MLD before scooping or dying (I use MLD, but only if it puts me in an advantageous position) nor do I scoop to deny triggers.
I have done somethi g similar. Ask "do i win" revealinv mg ha d and taking board state into account. They agreed, i scooped and went home so they could play for second.
One time I was playing 3 player games, but one guy (a complete jerk) kept targetting me regardless of my board state, for 2 games in a row. I mean, why all the hate, as I had nothing too special in play? In the third game, I chose my nastiest deck, then proceeded to pound him and completely ignore the 3rd player since I was getting really pissed. Needless to say, the 3rd player benefited from the lack of attention and won that game.
I don't think I've ever been that guy quite as described here, but there have definitely been occasions of "In response to you eliminating me, I make sure you'll die before your next turn."
Yeah I don't think I've ever purposefully ruined a pod for several people because I wasn't man enough to accept that I didn't win a game of cards but I think it's reasonable to puke your removal on the guy who kills you specifically. Picking fights is part of the mental metagame and if someone goes for a swing they need to expect to pay for it, whether or not the guy is going to die. It's 100% their fault that they'll be the next person packing up because they weren't smart enough to assess threats properly and avoid killing people who've got bombs.
I'm not too proud to admit that I rarely take a knockout without being a superdick, but it does depend on the circumstances. Usually its because someone is picking on me, or is politic-ing the rest of the table against me.
A good example that happens now and again is the local group-hug player constantly pointing out to everyone that my almost-creatureless Grixis deck has no blockers on the field when they're moving to combat. I've been known to Insurrection and send the entire board at his face despite it being massive overkill, just to make a point about him doing that. Or the time I had a Krenko deck swinging at me from turn 2 because he was scared of my combos and openly stated he wanted to knock me out early. He got me down to single-digit life and I cast Wake of Destruction calling mountains and followed with a Blasphemous Act that set his board state to zero. I still died to someone else, but I put that guy out of the game for good. Don't bully my dragon.
