This general dies and is able to return to play more powerful than before... as a mummy.
One thing that stands out about Temmet is that, he is one of those generals whom you could safely put into graveyard, trigger all the upon-death effects, and still able to return himself to the command zone using emblam, and when he returns he becomes unblockable via his ability.
Due to the commander rule, a token who's a copy of the general does not deal commander damage, therefore it's a slight loss on that end. One could still go voltron with the token so it deals heavy unblockable damage, just it won't kill with 21.
If one casts Temmet from command zone while the token is on the board, one of them dies, and if you let the card dies you get another chance for embalm.
So what syncs with Temmet? First card came to mind is Reef Worm since it continues to get bigger when it dies, and unblockable thanks to Temmet. Cackling Counterpart, Rite of Replication, and Tempt with Reflections all have potential of creating large tokens. Ajani Goldmane creates HUGE avatar token and most people ignore the PW because he's weak. There's also Seance. Exalted mechanics allow one creature to hit harder by attacking alone, and Temmet can make it unblockable also.
Base on the Amonkhet cards spoiled so far, I am thinking of a creature deck consist of both small and big creatures, with voltron subtheme, and cards that generate token copies when need to. This set up allow Temmet to potentially hit hard and help others hit harder. Geist-Honored Monk monk and Intangible Virtue also buy into this strategy, one gets bigger base on number of creatures and the other give further utilities.
There is a sort of advantage in not dealing commander damage - fast voltron decks can get a bit of that infect stink on them, where people will do whatever it takes to avoid taking commander damage, thus making your swords of x and y much worse when you just want to get some value off their triggers. Whereas if you have a non-commander commander, they might be more likely to just take the 5-7 and let you draw some cards, untap some lands, whatever.
I don't know that there's any terribly exciting regular tokens to target with Temmet, besides token copies of other cards (and maybe some upcoming mummies) I don't think there's any saboteur triggers off tokens. Granted, he's only 2 mana. I think the most likely strategy is just to have some 1/1 token generation from planeswalkers or incidental sources, then strap them up with equipment and get saboteur triggers off them.
Doesn't seem amazing but I guess it's fairly new territory for a UW commander.
EDIT: there is one decent saboteur trigger on a token - scytheclaw. Could be a cute little combo.
Descend Upon the Sinful could be quite amusing if your Temmet is safe in the graveyard. Next turn you just embalm him and he comes back and can make your angel an unblockable 5/5. In a similar vain there is also Phyrexian Rebirth except the horror token is an unblockable 1+X/1+X.
There is also the prospect of Drake Haven. Which also means Fluctuator could be handy if the deck has a good amount of cycling cards.
Also the other Embalm creatures aren't half bad and do have synergy with him.

Good call, germ may be small but they come equipped. Nahiri, the Lithomancer also provide tokens that could be equipped immediately when it enters play.

So far equipment based Temmet seems to be the obvious route, consider white provided lots of tools for tokens and voltron stuff. White also have populate cards like Rootborn Defenses to protect Temme after he returns to play and copy a token when one sees fit.
Mirrorweave could be quite hilarious with the token making going on.
Venser, the Sojourner I would argue has a home in this deck. Not so much for his ultimate or his +1 though. But in order to make each of your creatures unblockable. Which goes quite neatly with Mirrorweaving, say, a X/X Minion from Phyrexian Processor.

Goodness, that's cleaver, consider you can make a token of yours into a monstrosity, but because of Temmet it gets +1/+1 and becomes unblockable. On the same vibe, Infinite Reflection makes your nontoken creatures a copy of the enchanted token (right after Mirrorweave perhaps), or all into 10/10 if it's a Phyrexian Processor token, or an Ajani avatar token.
The "fair answer" is Reef Worm for nine points of damage every turn.

Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
Card advantage is not the same thing as card draw. Something for 2B cannot be strictly worse than something for BBB or 3BB. If you're taking out Swords to Plowshares for Plummet, you're a fool. Stop doing these things!
Finally, Séance is bad in the deck as we still need a way to give the tokens haste.
Not really if you run lots of creatures with ETB value like Mulldrifter, Cloudblazer or Angel of Finality. Since UW doesn't really have good graveyard recursion for creatures, so you may as well exile them.
And, per DirkGently's idea, any application of infect would make Temmet's unblockable that much more deadly. Living Weapons as well, so Batterskull, comes with vigilance and lifelink, now unblockable.
It's more multiplayer oriented, a polliowfort set up, with voltron win con. I like the idea of Monarch in this deck, consider how easy it is to replicate monarch creatures to maintain advantage. Personally, I'd also add Ephara, God of the Polis here.
While fabricating the deck, I notice many good choices in artifact creatures as well, such as the Splicers that create golems, and mass producers, perhaps this too can be a direction to consider.

The advantages of artifacts-focused Temmet:
1) White and blue support artifacts ardently, with revival such as Argivian Restoration, fetch with Fabricate or Arcum Dagsson in 99.
2) Colorless, easy to cast.
3) Capable of tokens and interactions, such as Blade Splicer, Hangarback Walker, Foundry Inspector, and Chief of the Foundry.
4) Have big beaters to copy with Cackling Counterpart that could put into play without the need of green, such as Blightsteel Colossus and Master Transmuter.
What do you guys think?
