I have a Rashmi, Eternities Crafter deck which is built to exploit Paradox Engine. Experimenting with that deck has demonstrated how strong Rashmi is as a commander, and just how powerful she can be when combined with library manipulation (Soothsaying, of all things, is crazy good in that deck). I'm not really interested in discussing her as a commander, though. I wonder what people's experiences have been with Rashmi included in the deck instead of the command zone.
I currently include Rashmi in four decks where she is not the general: Riku, Surrak Dragonclaw, Yasova Dragonclaw and Atraxa. In each of these decks, but especially in Riku and Atraxa, I have found her to easily be the best thing to get into play about 75% of the time. Just the straight-out card advantage she provides makes each deck run much more smoothly, and when combined with even very modest sorts of library manipulation, such as scrying, the advantage she provides is really powerful. Moreover, while she is great early on, assuring land drops and providing more fuel for later, she remains strong at every point in the game.
Have other people had similar experiences with Rashmi? Is she turning out to be an all-star in a lot of decks?
I'm currently testing Rashmi in my 99 because of her ability to draw more than one card per turn cycle.
There's no shortage of Howling Mine/Phyrexian Arena effects in Magic that allow players to draw one card per turn cycle. Abilities like Rashmi's that draw more than one card per cycle are a lot rarer. She requires some amount of work; she won't be that stunning without a high instant count or Leyline/Vedalken Orrery, but with either set of conditions she's definitely worth a look. The fact that Rashmi can cascade into the drawn card rather than just outright draw it is pure gravy.

I have her in the 99 in Prime Speaker Zegana. Turns out it's fun to get a free Kozilek, Butcher of Truth from your Emrakul, the Promised End. The deck plays the usual top-of-library manipulation with Library and Top so that certainly helps. She's mostly in there as an early-game-smoother.

My Commander decks:
Chandra, Torch of Defiance - Oops! All Chandras.
Prime Speaker Zegana - Draw for Power.
Pir & Toothy - Counterpalooza.
Arcades, the Strategist - Another Brick in the Wall.
Zacama, Primal Calamity - Calamity of Double Mana.
Edgar Markov - Vampires Don't Die.
Child of Alara - Dreamcrusher.
I have her in every deck she can be played in. She is amazing and for some reason never seems to get targeted by removal. Basically replaces herself immediately and then it's all gravy from there.
I have her in my Yidris, Maelstrom Wielder deck and she works nicely as an additional "cascade" type trigger on my first spell of the turn. Sometimes she lets me cast sweet cards for free, other times I just get random stuff in my hand, but it's never bad to have her out.
Rashmi is currently one of my generals for edh. She's a blast to play, and can dig through my deck pretty quickly to set up one of many combos thrown in my deck. Honestly the best u/g commander we have atm. Imo, haha.

In the games I've played against her, she isn't so much targeted with removal as cloned as soon as possible. And from that experience, I certainly expect she'll do quite well in the 99, even if not built for her. One sided card draw with occasional free casting? Everything great about the format.
I suspect that you will not find a lot of bad things said about Rashmi. With no setup and no luck, she is a Phyrexian Arena. With more setup and luck, she’s more like Baleful Force that gives you extra mana. One of those cards that is beyond question.

She is in my Yidris deck as well, and though Ive only gotten to play her once (due to limited playtesting), she was great. Im surprised I dont see her more often in other peoples' deck tbh.
This thread is timely reminder, I left the card out when it was previewed/released just waiting to see what happens to its price first and eventually forgot about it. All this shining reviews are really convincing me (not that I needed much in the first place) that I should go and get one (it's pretty much bottomed out now) for Animar. Ezuri wasn't really pulling his weight and Rashmi will definitely do better in his place.
