Examples:
Niv Mizzet, the Darkcaster1BRU Legendary Creature
Flying
Whenever another player draws a card, you may pay 1 life. If you do, draw a card. 4/4
Geth, Supreme Necromage1BU Legendary Creature
Flash
Counters on Geth, Supreme Necromage do not fall off as he moves between zones. 1, Place a Necrotic Counter on Geth: Remove Geth from play and return him to the battlefield.
When Geth enters the battlefield, target spell in your graveyard gains flashback. It's flashback cost is equal to it's converted mana cost plus 1 for each Necrotic Counter on Geth. 3/3
Boros Splitcaster2RW Legendary Creature
Whenever you cast a spell, Boros Splitcaster deals 1 damage to you and 2 damage split between up to 2 target creatures or players. 1/4
When Gonti, Lord of Multiverse enters the battlefield, look at the top seven cards of target opponent's library, exile one of them face down, then put the rest on the bottom of that library in a random order. For as long as that card remains exiled, you may look at it, you may cast it, and you may spend mana as though it were mana of any type to cast it.
Sulgir, Lord of Snakes 3B
Legendary Creature - Human Druid
Whenever a nontoken creature enters the battlefield under your ocntrol, you may sacrifice a creature. If you do, create X 1/1 black Snake creature tokens, where X is equal to the sacrificed creature's toughness.
0/4
Lore is kind of important when you reuse the names of preexisting legends.
For whatever it's worth, I don't think yours are too bad. I could imagine Niv-Mizzet going black (in a commander product, as Ravnica is very much a two-color setting) and Geth gaining blue isn't a huge deal.
If a dead individual pops up in very odd colors with an ability that doesn't gel with his established identity as well, however, it looks weird. The Gonti above, for example, takes a black vampire and turns it into something with little relation to the Gonti represented in the game (a problem that wouldn't exist if it was called "Jubjub"). Likewise, imagine representing Jerrik (a dead research assistant from Innistrad who helped Tamiyo) as something like this:
Jerrik, Research Assistant
Legendary Creature- Human Wizard
At the beginning of your upkeep, exile a card form your hand.
5/5
Again, your legends look fine to me. When you use preexisting names, though, you invite criticism on how well the card matches the character (above and beyond criticism on the card itself). Personally, I think that it's easier to make up names (or use placeholder names like [Boros spellslinger legend]) if the entire point is to make mechanically unique commanders.
Most Commanders on my wishlist are either existing creatures (Overbeing of Myth, Dominus of Fealty, Tamanoa) or an existing Legend with a color added (Sram Boros, Dosan Gruul, Toshiro Dimir or Rakdos, Ixidor Simic). I had a couple cards hidden in my old files (I'm talking 2010 old.) that I always wondered if it would see the light of day:
Knight General1WB Legendary Creature - Spirit Knight
You may cast ~ from your graveyard.
As long as you control a Knight creature with first strike, creatures you control gain first strike. Same is true for protection, trample, flying, vigilance, deathtouch, lifelink, hexproof, indestructible, menace, and double strike. WB: You may cast target Knight card in your graveyard without paying its mana cost. 3/1
A combination of Odric, Lunarch Marshal, Haakon, Stromgald Scourge, and Horde of Notions. I always loved Knights when I was younger, and it's a shame that Haakon is not a viable Commander. Yes, Command Beacon exists, but I'm not jumping through hoops to accomplish that.
Eggs Commander9 Legendary Artifact Creature - Golem
Affinity for artifacts (This spell costs 1 less to cast for each artifact you control.)
Mana produced by artifacts you control add U or R to your mana pool in addition to its other types.
Whenever you cast an artifact spell, draw a card. 2/4
Back then, I had the idea of making artifacts cantrip. I loved Cloud Key and I wanted to make a storm deck off of it. Seeing the state of the card pool now, this would probably be broken--especially with Paradox Engine being a thing.
Funny thing is: I'm using Arjun for this very idea and enjoy it quite a bit. I think I prefer him over this design.
Boros Spellslinger Legendary Creature - Human Wizard
Whenever you cast a red or white instant or sorcery spell, you may pay . If you do, draw a card.
Non-blue, non-black, and non-green instant or sorcery spells you control with a converted mana cost of 4 or less have buyback . 1/2
The intention was to make a Boros deck that played the control game. Heavily inspired by Sunforger. The second ability has very weird wording, but the intention was to make it so it would work in its colors rather than be splashed in every deck that could play it.
Soulbond
When you cast ~, you may have target noncreature artifact become an artifact creature with power and toughness each equal to its converted mana cost.
As long as ~ is paired with another creature, Each of those creatures has “T: Untap target permanent.”
As long as ~ is paired with another artifact creature, each of those creatures has “UR: this creature gains flying and hexproof until end of turn.”
Rumor is that the notorious thief Igress Six-Fingers has never stolen a treasure, instead the treasure would follow him home.
Note: A versatile legend who is artifact-friendly, but doesn’t become useless even if there’s no artifact in play.
2) Reias, Witness of World Reborn UG
Legendary Creature - Elf Druid
2/2
UG: Target permanent you control loses all abilities and becomes a copy of target land. 3UG: Target land you control loses all abilities and becomes a copy of target nonland permanent.
Note: Land shenanigan legend.
3) Argus Merryhearth 2WR
Legendary Creature - Human Soldier
5/5
Defender
~ gets -1/-1 for each other creature you control. 2WR: Gain control of target creature with power less than ~. (This effect lasts indefinitely.)
Note: Not a combat Boros legend like too many before him, this one wins loyalty via big parties, until he can’t afford it. One could also “voltron” him to ensure he could control bigger creatures, and doesn’t die to his ability too quickly.
4) The Fulfilled Circle 2BG
Legendary Creature - Elf Shaman
0/5
When you cast ~, each other player puts a token that's a copy of ~ onto battlefield
Each player may play cards from each graveyard whose owner controls ~. If that card would be put into a graveyard this turn, exile it instead. 5: Destroy target creature named ~. Any player may activate this ability.
Note: A different take on Golgari, this legend forcefully completes the cycle of life via all players, also encourages the player to utilizes mana of other colors. The last ability provides a way for players to get out of the situation, but he/she would lose the ability to cast spells from graveyards because he/she “broke the circle.” The temptation is a double-edge sword. You can also destroy other people’s Fulfilled Circle to keep their dangerous cards being used by another opponent.
Flying
Each creature and enchantment spell you cast cost 2 less to cast
Each creature and enchantment you control has “At the beginning of your upkeep, you draw a card and you lose 2 life.”
Note: The card depicting a demon scholar who is obsessed with knowledge that he pays great price for them, but the more he learns, the more burdened he feels, and his craving only increases, much to its controller’s chagrin.
Awaken X, Awaken X
You cannot cast creature spells.
Land creatures you control gain first strike, trample, and vigilance. X2WG: Return target land card from a graveyard to the battlefield under your control. That land becomes a 0/0 Elemental creature with X +1/+1 counters on it.
Note: An odd take on Selesnya color. While this legend prevents you from casting creature spells, it can reanimate your lands indefinitely and make them powerful at the same time. The hefty activation cost is to discourage abuse of lands like Strip Mind.
2RG: Put a token onto the battlefield that is a copy of target artifact or enchantment, and put three bomb counter on it.
At the beginning of your upkeep, remove a bomb counter from each permanent with a bomb counter on it. If you do, destroy each permanent that had its last bomb counter removed and ~ deals 3 damage to you.
If only his skills live up to his ego.
Note: New take on Gruul without being outside of color identities. He can copy enchantments and artifacts, but also put 'bombs' into play when doing so, that would damage its owner.
8) Narkor, Feast of Madness 2BR
Legendary Creature - Human Wizard
3/4
Spells each player plays costs an additional X to cast, where X is the number of cards in that player's hand above 4.
Spells each player plays costs Y less to cast, where Y is the number of cards in that player's hand under 4.
Note: A group hug general (kinda) who manipulates spell costs depending on the number of cards in the player’s hand. However, due to his duality, the deck can be designed either way.
At the beginning of your upkeep, you may search target player's library and exile a card from it. If you do, that player may search your library for a card and exile it.
Flying, lifelink.
~ gets +1/+1 for each card in all players' exile zones.
Note: Another play on the exile zone, the neutrality of this legend is a testament to UB’s lack of true allegiance while benefit from all’s losses.
At the beginning of your upkeep, choose one:
> Player with the lowest life chooses a permanent another player controls, then gain control of it. You draw a card.
> Player with the highest life chooses a permanent he or she controls, then chooses another player, the second player gains control of it. You draw a card. 4WU: Exchange life totals with target opponent. Activate this ability only during your turn.
Note: WU enjoys laws and order, doesn’t mean they are entirely moral when doing it. A socialite like Zexa is more adept at favor-earning than any actual progress. The life exchanging ability, while useful to help you steal permanents, may also put you at risk.
Anomander Rake, Voltron King 2BW
Legendary Creature- Tiste Warrior
Flying, Hexproof, Triple Strike
4/4
Anomandaris Purake... in white!?!?!
He is the son of Darkness.
Made me think of a design I made for him:
Anomander Rake, son of Darkness 2BBB
Legendary Creature - Wizard
Whenever Anomander deals combat damage to a creature, exile that creature until Anomander leaves play.
B: Transform Anomander Rake
3/5
[flip]
Anomander Rake, son of Tiam
Legendary Creature - Dragon Wizard
Flying, haste
XBB: Target creature gets -X/-X until end of turn. You many only activate this if Anomander is attacking.
At the beginning of each end step, transform Anomander.
6/6
I was trying to capture Dragnipur on the front side.
On the flip side, I wanted to capture the black version of a dragon breathing fire.
At the beginning of your upkeep, you may search target player's library and exile a card from it face down. If you do, that player may search your library for a card and exile it face down.
Flying, lifelink.
~ gets +1/+1 for each card in all players' exile zones.
Note: Another play on the exile zone, the neutrality of this legend is a testament to UB’s lack of true allegiance while benefit from all’s losses.
I really do like this design Cyberium, all I would change is adding the bold font.
But if I were to be able to create my very own legendary it would be The Soulfire Grand Master.
That, or
Fickle the Dream God UBR
Legendary Enchantment Creature- God
Indestructible
As long as your devotion to blue, black, and red is less than nine, Fickle isn't a creature.
Spells you cast cost 1 less for each spell you've cast this turn.
Whenever you cast a spell, if it doesn't share a card type with the last spell you cast you may draw a card.
Whenever you cast a spell, if it shares a card type with the last spell you cast discard a card, if you cannot then tap Fickle and you lose X life where X is the number of spells you've cast this turn.
If Fickle becomes a creature, sacrifice all other creatures you control.

I like the idea of a Commander that grants completely ridiculous bonuses to a narrow subset of historically awful creatures - I've always admired Lovisa Cold-eyes. Would make for an interesting commander, a sort of "Light Side" Kaalia that is much less busted.

Two I designed some while ago at the card creation forum:
Orim of the Cho-Arrim1WR
Legendary creature - Cleric Rebel
Spells and noncreature permanents you control have lifelink.
Prevent all damage dealt to creatures and planeswalkers you control by noncreature sources.
1/3
Din of Velis Vel2RW
Legendary creature - Shapeshifter
Changeling.
Other creatures you control have changeling.
Whenever a creature enters the battlefield under an opponent's control, create a token that's a copy of that creature. It gains haste and "At the beginning of your end step, sacrifice this creature".
3/3
And another I made in that thread:
Drainem, the Battle Lich1WBR
Legendary creature - Lich
Your opponents can't gain life.
At the beginning of your upkeep you lose half you life, rounded down, then exchange life totals with the opponent with the highest life total.
As long as you have the highest life total, Drainem gains indestructable.
4/4
Do you even lore... at all?
My god...
I hope you're joking, or this is some lame attempt at a conspiracy theory or something...
Lets examine the lore shall we?
Gonti has an aether heart to sustain his life. He is already on the road to become a cyborg. Is it unlikly that he will continue that trend? Yes. At some point he crosses over to being an artifact creature.
Kaladesh is the first plane to establish non planewalker ways to travel between planes. With his wast network of resoruces is it unlikly he got hold of a copied bkueprint of the planar portal before it was done? No, in fact he would probably pay close attention to what happened within the consulate.
Is he a true lord of the multiverse? No, that is just a self proclaimed title. He is more of a smugler between planes.

Gonti becoming a planeswalker is preposterous. His aether heart is only to keep him alive, and as you said, it is unlikely he will continue that trend. I'm sure you meant something along the lines of "Is it likely he will continue that trend? Yes."
Edit that please
But back to Gonti, if he weren't a minor character (perhaps we will see him again if we return to Kaladesh but for now he just does not have much screentime, so to speak) this would still be insane, the planar bridge was destroyed. Rashmi is definitely not going to make another one after what she has seen, and if she does I'm sure she will take measures to keep it from falling into the wrong hands. You like Gonti, I get it, but don't fanboy and believe it to be possible.
He is not a planewalker, he stil has the creature type.
With gonti having all the latest tech, often artefacts no body else have seen, like his heart, we know he has acess to good artificers.
We also know he has spies. A good network of them, probably in the high spier where tezzeret took the winners of the fair. The proto type was already working for teleporting things. All he would need was copied blue prints by servants. Combined with interviews from the other artificers pressent. He could probably get hands on the wreckedge. From there reverse enginer it. It is not like he does not have the time. In the end he would end up with a smugler network in the style of Jarlaxe. Seems to fit his character very well
As for 'fan boying' who are you to be the judicator of what is right and what is not right? If you think your opinion matters more then anybody else you are mistaken. All of these legends are fan creations. Heck even actual cards wizard prints are fan creation balanced with playtesting before getting printed, in particular the commander product legends.
The real treat of my sugested legend, lore aside, is to steal other players cards in a 5 colour deck.

Note: WU enjoys laws and order, doesn’t mean they are entirely moral when doing it. A socialite like Zexa is more adept at favor-earning than any actual progress. The life exchanging ability, while useful to help you steal permanents, may also put you at risk.

Anomandaris Purake... in white!?!?!
He is the son of Darkness.
Made me think of a design I made for him:
Anomander Rake, son of Darkness 2BBB
Legendary Creature - Wizard
Whenever Anomander deals combat damage to a creature, exile that creature until Anomander leaves play.
B: Transform Anomander Rake

[flip]
Anomander Rake, son of Tiam
Legendary Creature - Dragon Wizard
Flying, haste
XBB: Target creature gets -X/-X until end of turn. You many only activate this if Anomander is attacking.
At the beginning of each end step, transform Anomander.

On the flip side, I wanted to capture the black version of a dragon breathing fire.

Din of Velis Vel 2RW
Legendary creature - Shapeshifter
Changeling.
Other creatures you control have changeling.
Whenever a creature enters the battlefield under an opponent's control, create a token that's a copy of that creature. It gains haste and "At the beginning of your end step, sacrifice this creature".

And another I made in that thread:
Drainem, the Battle Lich 1WBR
Legendary creature - Lich
Your opponents can't gain life.
At the beginning of your upkeep you lose half you life, rounded down, then exchange life totals with the opponent with the highest life total.
As long as you have the highest life total, Drainem gains indestructable.

If my post has no tags, then i posted from my phone.
Last commandergame i played we had about 20 to 30 cards exiled each. I would ssy it is very unbalanced.
There's a place for this. Jussayin'.
Yeah I know he's de son of darkness, but I felt he had a stoic white side to him, but you're right, he should be heavy black. I really like your take on him. The flip is spot on. I was going for a kick ass warrior unbeatable in combat sort of thing.
Mephala, Lore Delver
Legendary Creature - Elf Scout
Mephala, Lore Delver's power and toughness is equal to the amount of cards in your graveyard.
, Exile two cards from your graveyard: Draw a card.

Chandra, Torch of Defiance - Oops! All Chandras.
Prime Speaker Zegana - Draw for Power.
Pir & Toothy - Counterpalooza.
Arcades, the Strategist - Another Brick in the Wall.
Zacama, Primal Calamity - Calamity of Double Mana.
Edgar Markov - Vampires Don't Die.
Child of Alara - Dreamcrusher.
Legendary Creature - Spider
Reach
Creatures you control assign combat damage equal to toughness instead of power.
: Belbeth deals damage to target creature with flying equal to Belbeth's toughness.
