Like the title says. Need a new deck, I want it to be fair, no crazy infinite combos and probably something creature based. Probably goodstuff, maybe themed, can't pick one. Any suggestions?
Garza Zol Grixis vampire tribal. A lot of the vampires have great synergy with other vampires, and vampires are a major enough tribe that there are lots of non-creature cards that have been printed with interact well with them, not to mention lots of "flavor" cards. Also, there are enough vampires priinted that you probably won't even be able to fit all of the good ones into your deck, as opposed to some tribes that are so small that you are at risk of having to run crappy cards just to fill out the deck. If you want to go thematic, you will probably find yourself running some cards you wouldn't ever run in any other deck, but there are also some near-staple cards that are both thematic and powerful. Exquisite Blood and Sanguine Bond, for example. Just don't be "that guy" and run them both. Vamp tribal tends toward a midrange plan of attack, and there are lots of combat-oriented cards (extra combat steps, things like Dolmen Gate) that allow them to work very well in the red zone. I've got a list up at Deckbox (same username I use here) if you're interested in checking it out. It certainly isn't a tier 1 deck or anything of that sort, but it's been quite successful in the metagame in which I play. I've never had anyone complain it was unfun to play against, save for one guy who got salty when he was targeted by Sorin Markov (who belongs in a vampire tribal deck if he belongs anywhere), and it can be explosive enough that it has pulled off a fair number of very quick wins.

Thanks for the replies, vamp tribal sounds fun and there are a couple legends listed I had my eye on. The problem I have is I make 4-5 new decks (scrapping the old ones) every few months, always a mix of strong to jank decks. This time around I'm having a hard time finding a few to settle on.
I've played most everything listed so I was really just wanting to know what people thought would be fun/fair and to pick from the legends they suggested based on one's I was leaning towards already. Thanks again for the replies!
I think you are looking for something that inspires interesting interactions with lots of different cards, because if you are having an issue not putting combos into your decks, you are into interesting interactions.
At lot of these other suggests are also good. I just prefer 2 colours over 3.. because you can easily get lost with too many options when you are building goodstuff.
I think you have to choose colours then pick the most goodstuff general available or pick something that wants to interact with a particular card type or creature type and build around that with goodstuff cards of that kind.
I vote Leovold, Emissary of Trest. He's in all the goodstuff colors. He makes all your opponents glad that everyone else can't gain more card advantage then them. You can even through some wheel effects in there because nothing says I'm Cool With You like allowing your opponents to refill their hands if they are terrible. You'll be like their new best friend with a fair commander as Leovold.

You probably want something creature based... So I'm assuming you want green.
You want the deck to be mono-, duo-, or shard colored?

When I think of going creature goodstuff, I think of going Doran, the Siege Tower with Stoneforge Mystic, SoFaF and SoFaI, Eternal Witness, Solemn Simulacrum, Grave Titan, Sun Titan etc. ~25-30 creatures. Maybe Birthing Pod for value. All the good Abzan disruption (Nature's Claim, Swords to Plowshares, Anguished Unmaking, Mortify, Utter EndPutrefy, Maelstrom Pulse, Vindicate, etc.). Pretty solid for a fair deck.
R.I.P. Sundering Titan (6/20/12) and Braids, Cabal Minion (9/12/14)

I am not sure you understand what Leovold does.
But yes, as long as you are not using a non-interactive combo to win, Leovold prison/control is a Fair strategy.
