Wave of Reckoning is very very underrated. No one really expects that kinds of effect.
If you have a Whip of Erebos out, it can be a real back breaker.
Saw one game where a guy played Tainted Remedy, donated a Whip, and cast Wave in Oloro. One guy lost his board and 106 life in the process.
I know the experience you stated was in an Oloro deck, but since OP's deck is Queen Marchessa, it's even easier to execute the combo. Yes it'll hurt you back as well when alone, but I guess if you have the Whip on your side you could effectively negate the backlash and still keep the general benefit for yourself without the need for Tainted Remedy and Donate effects (which tend to go inside narrower decks and I'm not sure if the OP's deck was in that scope).
Sudden Disappearance also has uses. I put it in my Ikra + Tymna deck to help me versus my own Ezuri, Claw of Progress deck. Although the effect is only temporary for non-token creatures and it can cause ETB effects to trigger, it does remove counters and tokens permanently.
Surprised I haven't seen Plague Wind or Decree of Pain show up yet...though they are, admittedly, pricey CMC-wise. And then there's Razia's Purification, for when you're holding more trump cards than the next guy...
Well... Decree isn't underrated... While Plague Wind is underplayed, and should be, that's because In Garruk's Wake is better.
While there's Fumigate, I thought Righteous Fury was always a decent consideration. I like "controllable" wraths. That's why red X-damage wraths are quite useful.
Hmmmm... I'm wondering why it took so long for anyone to mention Ezuri's Predation. Most of the time it's a beast of a card.
Yes, I'd like to destroy every creature on play except this giant flying beater. And here's an instant-speed board wipe that can kill a Blightsteel and be brought back to my hand with any of my various creature recursions.

If people are going to suggest stuff like Sunblast Angel, then I'm going to toss in Phyrexian Rebirth, which can straight-up kill someone with a hasteenabler. Also unlisted so far, Catastrophe either helps bring you back from behind or seals the win if you're ahead. If you're willing to pump the mana into it Forced March can do work, as can Molten Disaster (unrespondible Earthquake is nothing to sneeze at).
I started playing with Beta. I'm well aware of how Balance works, and I'm also well aware how broken it is in a format like Commander. It does too much for too little mana. There's a reason at least one of the RC members have said it's probably the very last card they would consider for removal from the banned list.
Did anyone bring up Magus of the Disk? Because guys, Magus of the Disk. Slow in terms of firing, sure, but it's a wipe with a great defensive body, and it can be reused if you regenerate it or give it indestructible.
The red ones a really underplayed: Fiery Confluence,, Mizzium Mortars and Co. I think people see them as low impact and can't kill Mr. 6/6 BeastBoy. But the fact is, most things you want to kill ASAP are under 3/3. For the Classic white wipes I don't see much Retribution of the Meek or Cataclysm which are great cards. Special mention goes to Final Judgment. Love the exile....

I love RetMeek, too, but I hardly think Final Judgment is underplayed - but that may be because of my Tajic, Blade of the Legion "twenty indestructible creatures" deck in my group's case.
There are a lot of cost effective spot removal options that become VERY fun wraths when radiated. Unlicensed Disintegration comes to mind (or Gild). And you even radiate your opponents spot removal (and you control the copies!).
Planar Cleansing for my Hazezon Tamar deck. As long as I have lands, I get my huge amount of tokens to replace my board immediately. I love how it removes everything except land, so against a creature, enchantment, artifact or even planeswalker decks, they all get cleared off. And playing Hazezon, i have plenty of mana anyways.

Second. If you're running Noyan Dar, it's a win condition. If you're running a white-based ramp a la Karametra, it tends to put you way ahead on board.

Chain Reaction is very nearly a red Day of Judgement.
There are a ton of underplayed options in any color that isn't green.
Fell the Mighty is an absurdly flexible wrath.
Generals meant to be drafted first in a single pack of 6 cards.
And here is the actual cube, meant to be drafted in 4 regular sized packs. (60 card decks)
Especially nice if they try to go wide and you have Goblin Spymaster, Goblin Diplomats or Avatar of Slaughter can work as a slightly poorer substitute.
Add in a couple of pillowfort effects for Marchesa and you're really going.
Upkeep: Sacrifice Scourglass
Combat: Attack with Silas, cast Scourglass
Not as brutal as Darksteel-Disk, but not too far off, either.
Two Score, Minus Two or: A Stargate Tail
Yeah, that would be pretty brutal.

Nobody should be surprised. It's banned for good reason.
I agree with General_Mills that Phyrexian Rebirth can be great. Definitely underplayed.

Nobody underrates Balance. It's frequently equivalent to Cataclysm + Mind Twist for 2 mana. I mean it doesn't hit artifact ramp but so what?
