What are some other board wipes that are still good but are hidden gems? What makes them good?
Some that come to mind include Planar Collapse (delayed board wipe, can discourage opponents from playing creatures), Rout (instant Wrath of God is no joke), Blasphemous Act (Very easy to cast for 3 mana or less in a multiplayer game), False Prophet (exile board wipe and rattlesnake card), and Balefire Dragon (when he swings, he can kill most creatures and he's also a win condition).
(On Lantern Control)"A guy who literally just sits there and mills cards he doesn't like from your library while he slowly, slowly kills you this way."
"If a person's profile includes anime or My Little Pony, feel free to ignore everything they say."
For me, all of the red wipes come to mind. Fiery Confluence, Starstorm, Fault Line, Mizzium Mortars. They all have their perks for me over the standard 4cmc destroy all effects, such as being instant speed, only killing certain creatures, not killing your own, etc. I think the reason that they’re not run more often is because they don’t kill Rampaging Baloths (or insert your own green fatty here). But then shuffle up, and all you see is Oracle of Mul Daya, Rafiq of the Many, and Thada Adel, Acquisitor for 8-10 turns, because same people seem to think that their Baloths are guaranteed to hit a wipe the turn after they are played.
You don't call "dying to removal" if the removal is more expensive in resources than the creature. If you have to spend BG (Abrupt Decay), or W + basic land (PtE) to remove a 1G, that is not "dying to removal". Strictly speaking Goyf dies to removal, but actually your removal is dying to Goyf.
Starstorm is very overlooked, instant speed and cycling? Yes, sir!
And while not for Queen Marchesa, Curse of the Swine is highly flexible, deals with indestructible creatures and an auto-include for all my decks with U.

Agree with these. They're not guaranteed to kill everything you're going to see in a game, but they frequently end up overperforming.
Along those lines, I've had a fair amount of success with Sudden Demise as a targeted wipe. If you're looking for almost universal creature kill and player damage, Rolling Earthquake is a lot more attainable thanks to its FtV printing.

[Pr]Jaya | Estrid | A rotating cast of decks built out of my box.
Surprised I haven't seen Plague Wind or Decree of Pain show up yet...though they are, admittedly, pricey CMC-wise. And then there's Razia's Purification, for when you're holding more trump cards than the next guy...
If you are running an artifact-heavy build, Scourglass can be good, though the timing restriction does limit it significantly. In artifact-heavy builds, you can often use effects like Shimmer Myr to get around this limitation. I've been particularly happy to have it when I played against Superfriends decks. The white mana aspect makes Kurkesh and Daretti sad, but the good Queen Marchesa might find it much to her liking, perhaps taking an Eerie Interlude along with key members of her court right before it is activated.
Always been fond of Necromantic Selection, though it's self exile is a bit of a pain.

My Commander decks:
Chandra, Torch of Defiance - Oops! All Chandras.
Prime Speaker Zegana - Draw for Power.
Pir & Toothy - Counterpalooza.
Arcades, the Strategist - Another Brick in the Wall.
Zacama, Primal Calamity - Calamity of Double Mana.
Edgar Markov - Vampires Don't Die.
Child of Alara - Dreamcrusher.
I've been a fan of Sunscour, since it often means you can play out something threatening (like your general) immediately after wiping the board for 0 mana.
The problem with defining this format by what is "fun" is that everyone seems to define fun as what they don't lose to. If you keep losing to easily answered cards, that means you should improve your deck. If you don't want to improve your deck, then you should come to peace with the idea that you are going to lose because you chose to not interact with better strategies.
All the damage-based ones make Repercussion worth considering. Anger of the Gods has that lovely 'exile' clause, and both it and the venerable Pyroclasm keep swarms, mana dorks, and utility critters in their place.
Mageta the Lion and a number of red creatures double as sweepers of varying sizes.
Cheers!

If in the area, check out Gamers N Geeks and Mini War Games in Mobile, Alabama and Underhill's Games in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio.
I'm not going to say "hidden", but Ugin, the Spirit Dragon and All is Dust are always good for a board wipe. Run Vandal Blast and a few other artifact board wipes and it feels good.
I agree with @justice, Mizzium Mortars is a really underplayed card imo, its ability to hit just opponents, and be used for early spot removal, make this card excellent.

If you have a Whip of Erebos out, it can be a real back breaker.
Saw one game where a guy played Tainted Remedy, donated a Whip, and cast Wave in Oloro. One guy lost his board and 106 life in the process.
"I hope to have such a death... lying in triumph atop the broken bodies of those who slew me..."

If you are real light on artifacts/enchantments Akroma's Vengeance can be backbreaking, better than the newer alternatives IMO because of the cycling.

Yep that's the big con of this wiper never gets the one they want to keep and keeps tokens in play.
It also kills Blightsteel Colossus due to its own infect, and if you give creatures wither via Everlasting Torment, no creature is safe.

Wildfire, Destructive Force, Burning of Xinye are all underplayed cards due to the MLD shunned in commander, but lets face it, extremely game altering cards.
