Do any of you use these cards since Conspiracy 2.0 came out, especially the non-Queen Marchesa ones? I run a deck with her and a couple of them, and have a few decks with Throne of the High City in it (like Emrakul, the Promised End) but it seems uncommon to see people use them.
I had a brief fling with Custodi Lich, but ended up cutting him because it was hard to get the draw + edict every turn, which is what I really wanted out of it. I've seen Regal Behemoth played and it looked pretty good; it's on my list of cards to try out. Throne is also on its way into my Freyalise deck as a sac land for Titania, where I expect it to be a solid role player.
I think Throne will be the most common in the 99. It's colorless, and it functions as a regular land in your opening hand.
I haven't cast any of them in an EDH game yet, but Regal Behemoth is in my Mina and Denn deck.
In cube draft, Custodi Lich and Regal Behemoth are amazing. Monarch is a really fun mechanic, even 1v1.

The dragon, lich, throne, and decree are all good in Marchesa. The behemoth is legit.

Onering's 4 simple steps that let you solve any problem with Magic's gameplay
Whether its blue players countering your spells, red players burning you out, or combo, if you have a problem with an aspect of Magic's gameplay, you can fix it!
Step 1: Identify the problem. What aspect of Magic don't you like? Step 2: Find out how others deal with the problem. How do players deal with this aspect of the game when they run into it? Step 3: Do what those players do. Step 4: No more problem. Bonus: You are now better at Magic. Enjoy those extra wins!
When you become the monarch, you draw a card on your end step. Someone can become monarch by dealing combat damage to you. Once there is a monarch, so far, there is no way for there to be no monarch after that. It creates a subgame, really, of how much advantage you're willing to let someone get. It paints a target on your head, for sure. But it's a ton of fun.

Regal Behemoth is in my Progenitus deck as Mana Reflection #4 or something. It does it's job admireably though it's far from an all-star. Skyline Despot, in the meantime, is in my Olivia deck as a cantripping dragon who might yield more card advantage. As it's an aggressive deck it's easy to retake monarch status, but not easy to keep it, leading to me rarely getting tokens from it.

My Commander decks:
Chandra, Torch of Defiance - Oops! All Chandras.
Prime Speaker Zegana - Draw for Power.
Pir & Toothy - Counterpalooza.
Arcades, the Strategist - Another Brick in the Wall.
Zacama, Primal Calamity - Calamity of Double Mana.
Edgar Markov - Vampires Don't Die.
Child of Alara - Dreamcrusher.
I run Skyline Despot in my Dragon Tribal EDH. Haven't drawn/cast it until now but i expect it to be worth it. Regal Behemoth is in Mayael the Anima and looked absolutely bonkers so far. Roon of the Hidden Realm got Palace Jailer and put up great results as well, since the return clause is not olinked to the card but to monarch state, so you can flicker the guy merrily.
Overall I love having The Monarch in play as it gives a new political aspect to play with in multiplayer games. I have had trouble tracking monarch staus however, and I am still trying to figurew out how to do this best. Wearable crown...?

I just keep a Monarch token with the decks that use it, although you could get a Burger King crown or a plastic tiara if you want something a bit more silly.

If I understand the Monarch mechanic correctly, it is possible to remove the monarch from game by non-combat means, removing the mechanic. Mill, burn, Door to Nothingness

If the Monarch loses or leaves the game, the active player becomes the Monarch. If the Monarch loses or leaves the game on their own turn, the next player in turn order becomes the Monarch.
I did not know about these but I am going to add skyline despot in my Kaalia edh deck and I want to use regal behemoth in some deck but I don't know yet
I had honestly forgotten about most of them but reading this makes me want to finally get around to Marchesa 2.0. Ive not seen any played near me but I'm not sure why.

EDH BRGKresh the BloodbraidedBRG, A box of lands and ideas.
Modern: RG Titanshift. A deck made of cards too stupid for EDH.
Retired: Lots. More than I feel you should suffer through or I should type out.
You'd think his second ability would be contingent on being the Monarch, but no.
I mean, barring someone else playing a monarch card, you're only not going to be the monarch after he's dead or you lose, so that's probably why they didn't feel the need to make it contingent.
