MTG Salvation

Looking to use these two in an equipment style voltron. Looking to take advantage Silas for advantage and put cranial plating & whispersilk/prowlers helm to one hit or two hit KO people. Also infinite turn combos are great with time sieve and any other infinite combos are welcomed. I can't put tons of money into this and have just a few cards more than the 2016 deck itself (tezzeret, time sieve) so any advice for making a budget deck that can accomplish this would be greatly appreciated. Ive been out of the game for more than a few years so I don't know what cards are available let alone ones that would be budget friendly and good for this strategy.

Silas is so-so for the colors.

Akiri is weak partner, Bruce is stronger. I think Bruce is one of the strongest Boros-commanders.

If you really want all this 4 colors then Breya is much more interesting choice.

Akiri would pair better with Thrasios, Triton Hero, since one needs mana and every mana rock pumps Akiri.

I'd run Silas and Bruse personally. Tons of potential for one-shotting with Bruse, and the utility and colors to make your deck strong and resilient with Silas.

Akiri could be one of the 99.

Except that Breya would be a terrible choice for a voltron equipment commander.

Mask of Memory seems pretty good since it pumps Akiri, generates card advantage and puts artifacts in the graveyard for Silas to recast.
