Many cards depend on situation. Some cards are always good and often will be worth a lot. Then you have cards that will not be worth as much. selvala's stampede did an amazing job last night, Twice, but not worth 100 bucks even though when the player got out a kozilek, iona, seedborn and avacyn from it.
On the same note: tooth and nail also enables all those combos. (Tutor deadeye navigator and eternal witness when I have a counterspell on hand and enough blue mana is often a "scoop from everyone").
Wait until you play one of those looting cards with Alhammarret's Archive out! Which...is another one.
Rule of Law is fun, particularly when you have a bunch of mana sinks ready to go.

Card advantage is not the same thing as card draw. Something for 2B cannot be strictly worse than something for BBB or 3BB. If you're taking out Swords to Plowshares for Plummet, you're a fool. Stop doing these things!
try archive with Teferi's Puzzle Box basically bottom your hand and double its size every turn it also makes everyone's tutor hilarious as they realize they won't have it next turn.
Kuon, Ogre Ascendant, although a little more difficult to get going, feels like playing The Abyss.
$0.50 vs $150 Italian or $210 English. Unlike Magus of the Abyss, it won't kill itself when it's flipped. Also, unlike The Abyss, it can be reanimated easier in B.

Well trolled. 6/10. May read again.
explain?
Nobody overlooks Deadeye. And Primeval Titan has been banned for years.
I haven't check the banlist, and was just posting some example one can run.
You didn't wonder why one of the best green ETB creatures in the entire game is in nearly zero GUx decklists alongside the best ETB enabler card in the game?
I'm surprised nobody mentioned Command Tower. It's the best color fixing land, period. Its only limitation is you sometimes can't use it to pay for your opponent's stuff you've stolen, as with Sen Triplets.

Farseek: Ramp + color fixing for a measly two mana (With a dual obviously). Since it removes a card from your deck it's actually better than the average 2 mana rock / signet. Fertile Ground: Also Ramp + color fixing for two mana in a resilient card type.

The secret to enjoyable Commander games is not winning first, but losing last.
If my post has no tags, then i posted from my phone.
Sol Ring would be more than $100 if they hadn't reprinted it in every deck.
For me, I have to go with vandalblast. One sided artifact wipe for 5 that can kill something for 1 in a pinch, it hits some of the best cards in every deck and wrecks dedicated artifact decks. An absolute auto include in every deck that has access to red. I've seen enough games where this just totally changes the outcome, leaving the caster so far ahead of the rest of the table (especially since red tends to be a bit faster so blasting everyone's artifacts helps keep them from stabilizing). Brutally effective card.

The Meaning of Life: "M-hmm. Well, it's nothing very special. Uh, try and be nice to people, avoid eating fat, read a good book every now and then, get some walking in, and try and live together in peace and harmony with people of all creeds and nations"
Onering's 4 simple steps that let you solve any problem with Magic's gameplay
Whether its blue players countering your spells, red players burning you out, or combo, if you have a problem with an aspect of Magic's gameplay, you can fix it!
Step 1: Identify the problem. What aspect of Magic don't you like? Step 2: Find out how others deal with the problem. How do players deal with this aspect of the game when they run into it? Step 3: Do what those players do. Step 4: No more problem. Bonus: You are now better at Magic. Enjoy those extra wins!

This cannot be understated. I had a game a couple months back where the entire table had some form of ArtifactRamp, and we all had Sol Ring by turn 3. I untapped, cast Vandal Blast, overloaded, and proceeded to cruise to victory. It's often a blowout, much like Cyclonic Rift.
Arcane Denial is right up there with power-levels in commander for counter magic, given the U and C colorless requirement. Which in multi-color commander decks is a big deal.
Swan Song is not popular in 20 life dueling formats (Modern, Legacy, Vintage), but in commander the creature means nothing.
Genesis Wave - Probably the most abusable card in green, maybe all of Commander.
I agree about arcane denial and Swan song being way more powerful than price indicates, but I would like to note that Swan Song actually does see a bit of legacy play in sideboards of decks that have a strong proactive game plan and thus don't care too much about the 2/2 flyer.
No one has mentioned Mind's Dilation, it's a nastier Lurking Predators and combos with any 'I like spells' cards, strategies or generals. It's under 2 bucks where I live.
Stax has a tendency to play a lot of expensive cards, however, one of my favorite all stars in the deck is Slow Motion. Especially when combined with Winter Orb or Tabernacle effects, it's an absolutely brutal card that simply doesn't stop annoying people until it's counterspelled. Anyone playing blue in their stax deck should look into this thing, it's really absurd.

Beating Face with Bane
Beatrice, the Golden Witch
Cyclonic Rift - 'nuff said.
Phyrexian Arena - My wife doesn't give this card the respect it deserves, and the amount of times it's kept me ahead of curve completely proves it's worth.
Clever Impersonator - the versatility.
Strionic Resonator - the versatility.
Ahsnod's Altar - In the right deck, this ***** is broken into a million pieces.
Vampiric Rites - Quietly good sac outlet.
YES. Voltaic Key too. Stupidly versatile cards, they to me are the epitome of what a versatile powerful artifact should be.
