Hello fellow EDH enthusiasts. Since she was spoiled a month ago or so, I've been trying to figure out how to break Selvala, Heart of the Wilds. Now I know the combo potential with Umbral Mantle and the easy infinite mana combo off of those two, but I'm curious about what to do with all of that mana. Currently I have no real desire to set Selvala at the helm of any deck - mostly because I'm not huge on Mono-green, so she is quite comfortably sitting in a couple of decks as 1 of the 99.
Problem is I'm not sure then what I want to do with said combo. I love combos and removal, and seeing one in green is really exciting, but outside of beaters I'm not sure what to sink that sweet mana into. The decks are either going to end up in Selesnya or Gruul colors, with Gruul probably going for a wolf tribal theme.
Any of you lovely patrons of the forums have some good mana sinks in either color combination for Selvala to fuel?

Vorthos-player with way too much time on his hands and a love of thematic decks.
EDH - Yes, Each One is Named After a Song. I love tying music to my decks.
When you say beaters do you mean pump? Any objection to tokens?
No objections to tokens at all. What I meant by beaters was that most Selvala lists I see involve just dumping her mana into large green creatures or Eldrazi. Which is fine, obviously and plays well with her draw ability. I was just wanting to see about something else to dump mana into. If I slot her into Sigarda, I could fuel Sigarda's token generation ability so long as I have cards in the yard, or if Kamahl, FiSt of Krosa is out I could seriously Overrun someone, but I'm just looking into other options.
Pump and token generation suggestions are very welcome.

I was thinking about going Selesnya with Chorus of the Conclave at the helm, so that once you've assembled your combo you can just play out your hand with all the beaters, drawing cards all the while.
How did this get to post 8 before helix pinnacle? Squall Line is a great win con that nobody ever really expects from the green deck. Burn the whole pod to death
I'm a big fan of Kumano, Master Yamabushi. If you've got a deck that goes infinite, it's as good a spout as any. If your deck still makes big mana when it's not comboing, you can have a solid removal option and way to mess with combat math. If you've only got a few mana to spare and creatures are about to die from a board wipe or combat, you can sneak in and get them exiled instead, which is not an insignificant benefit.
