I've been posting in two different threads about Marchesa and pillowfort strategies people want to build with her. I have a different view on how to play Marchesa: be content to let your opponents fight for the crown, and finish of the last one when it's only you and that person left. To that end, what we want is cards that encourage your opponents to attack each other instead of you, and to be able to help some of the opponent's out to keep the games going if it becomes a stalemate. My question to all of you is to create a list of cards that would fit a deck that plays this way. Bonus points for cards that fit the Hunger Games flavor
Thanks for the suggestions, there's some good ones in there! I had not thought of No Mercy but that is indeed a real good reason for players not to attack me. Along with Dread, Teysa 2 and gravepact effects that makes for a good start i guess.
Any thoughts for a wincon of our own? Preferably nothing infinite.

The secret to enjoyable Commander games is not winning first, but losing last.

Angelic Arbiter is kind of a spicy addition. It forces them to cast spells if they don't want to attack, but they have to do it on their first main phase, and once they attack, they can't cast spells. Then, they can't use pump spells/other spells to protect their doods in combat lol.

Repercussion/Vicious Shadows: Potential to do a lot of damage to players but could draw you aggro
Inferno/Grave/Sun Titan: big enough to get in the last points of damage and each has bonuses for you by clearing out weenies/damaging a player, giving you more attackers/blockers, or repairing your boardstate Anya, Merciless Angel: Before Marchesa came out, I'd suggest her as the commander. However, she still can provide flying, hard to kill beats. Angelic Overseer acts similarly. Aegis Angel: Protects Marchesa, beats. Kagemaro, First to Suffer: A beater who can boardwipe. Kothophed, Soul Hoarder: large card draw potential, kills yourself potential since it's not a may ability. Odric, Lunarch Marshal: With just him and Marchesa on the board, all of your creatures gain haste and deathtouch during combat. Skyline Despot: If we're going to attempt to win and put a target on us, we might as well also become the monarch and attempt to spawn dragons.

Rite of the Raging Storm, Crown of Doom, Assault Suit, Bullwhip, Fumiko the Lowblood, Curse of Chaos, Curse of Shallow Graves, Curse of Stalked Prey, Vow of Duty, Vow of Lightning, Vow of Malice.
Cards that help people attack or allow us to break stalemates:
War's Toll, Balduvian Warlord, Citadel Siege(Dragons), Twilight's Call, Reaper from the Abyss, Master Warcraft.
Cards that punish people for not taking the bait:
Comeuppance, Deflecting Palm
Wincons for ourselves
Assemble the Legion
Let the games begin!

War Storm Surge is the one I think I'm going to go with. Couple that with Rite of the Raging Storm, Skyline Despot, Assemble the Legion, and Sigil of the Empty Throne, I should be able to generate enough damage simply off of ETB to close out the game. I am going for an enchantment fueled Pillow Fort design though so it all works together quite well.
