So I've been loosely collecting cards for an Angus Superfriends deck, and I want to actually build it now. The thing I'm having trouble with, is how to keep planeswalkers alive in multiplayer games? We usually play multiplayer games with 4, sometimes 5 or 6 people. Planeswalkers are mostly killed on sight. How do you keep planeswalkers around without dedicating half your deck to propaganda effects and walls?

The secret to enjoyable Commander games is not winning first, but losing last.
If my post has no tags, then i posted from my phone.
Wraths, for me that is the best way to keep them around, and against hasty creatures some defensive creatures might make the trick. Manor Gargoyle Fog Bank Guard Gomazoa
some instant answers are good, and I think that can do the trick
Following up a planeswalker with a boardwipe helps as well. Wraths in general are a planeswalker's best friend.

My Commander decks:
Chandra, Torch of Defiance - Oops! All Chandras.
Prime Speaker Zegana - Draw for Power.
Pir & Toothy - Counterpalooza.
Arcades, the Strategist - Another Brick in the Wall.
Zacama, Primal Calamity - Calamity of Double Mana.
Edgar Markov - Vampires Don't Die.
Child of Alara - Dreamcrusher.
Reusable Fog effects like Spike Weaver/Constant Mists go a long way in preserving planeswalkers in the mid stages of the game. Past that, making your early value creatures a bit more defense oriented can make a difference. Kitchen Finks, and Wall of Omens/Wall of Blossoms are durable value creatures even if you aren't going full defense, and flash creatures like Stonecloaker can be a surprise blocker when you don't want to put out too many of your resources for fear of incoming wraths (either your opponents' or your own).

"Hail to the speaker, hail to the knower; joy to he who has understood, delight to they who have listened." - Odin
Add Red+obliterate and friends? Red has the best "wipes" to pair with walkers. It's easy enough to keep him alive if there is no means of attacking him or ways of producing means of removing him. Not gonna make you any friends, though.
if the table is really out to get your PWs, there isn't so much you really CAN do about it. in that regard, if you play a slightly more political game, for example using PW abilities to 'help' other players on the table so their board position isn't going to threaten your PWs.
I've always been partial to cards like Silent Arbiter and Crawlspace. Paired with Maze of Ith, Kor Haven, etc you can really screw with people's combat math. Recurring fogs in an Angus deck seems on flavor though. Extra turns are some of the best ways to build loyalty on planeswalkers, but tend to make people target you all the harder. Board wipes make most planeswalkers happy as well.
Also, tax effects from Propaganda, Ghostly Prison, and Collective Restraint don't tax people when they attack your planeswalkers, as they are not attacking you.
If you've got a heavy enchantment build you can always try out Sphere of Safety as someone suggested above. Norn's Annex also taxes people to attack you and your Walkers, but in my experience, people usually just pay the life.
Play in my metagame, where it seems noone guns for the PWs, but then gripes when the PW ultimates (or worse); it doesn't help that our games are often full of control decks, and by that, I mean creature control, so little countermagic or bounce to prevent PW shenanigans.
Otherwise, solid defenders, pillowforts, sweepers, and Humility.
Cheers!

If in the area, check out Gamers N Geeks and Mini War Games in Mobile, Alabama and Underhill's Games in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio.

For this reason alone, I would prioritize red for a superfriends EDH deck. You know what's better than Wrath of God when you have three planeswalkers out? Jokulhaups.

Also, prioritize on 'walkers that you don't mind as much if they only get a single activation. A -2 Sorin, Lord of Innistrad has done his job, or a 0 Chandra, Flamecaller. It's great if they stick around, but if you can get value out of them from just using them once, it doesn't matter so much if they die.
Consider walkers that are less threatening, too. Garruk Wildspeaker is a great example.
Dueling Grounds can help keep the nasties at bay provided that somebody else isn't playing Rafiq of the Many. Alternative is to have doubling season out first and ultimate them as soon as they hit the field and not care if they survive.

In my Tasigur Fog Superfriends deck i have people to the point they dont even bother trying to attack me anymore lol so ya im fairly biased towards fogs protecting my walkers. Also doubling season is worth every penny.
well to be honest protections like Privileged position to help against spells blue bounce/Removal and a few propaganda effects go along way in superfriends. I myself have a superfriends deck 5-color Progenitus. So much fun yet so much hate...
Kytheon, Hero of Akros//Gideon, Battle-Forged is really good if you can get him to flip and make your Palisade Giant indestructible for whole turn cycles. Though, you may need to make it a little more token/creature focused to make him flip.

Outside of that, the standard doubling season so you can immediately ultimate a walker works.
Most of the time though you aren't going to stick more than 2-3 walkers at a given time. They simply draw too much attention.
