Of thsoe four they all have their pros and cons. Johan allows yu to swing and still be able to block, Gahiji makes them strnge rwhen not attacking you. Mayael allows you to poop out bigger guys easily and Marath, while not amazing can be interesting, and with cards like Doubling season and primal vigor, he can get pretty big.
anyway i am looking for suggestions on who the general should be of those four and suggestions on beasts I should include.
Whilst Mayael looks great, you have to build around her ability so that it will work out cheaper than casting them or fill your deck with mana dorks so that its a bit easier. For beast tribal I would go with Marath or Gahiji and from there it depends on how much you want to depend or build around your commander.
To me Gahiji is slightly more political or to really build around his strengths you want a token deck and attack with lots of dudes. Marath on the other hand is pretty strong but gets way better with Doubling Season et al which pushes tokens again.

My sister has a Gahiji beast tokens deck and it delivers something fierce: ramp, tokens, anthems, go to town with extra combats. Certainly wants to have a token-centric deck to get the most mileage out of the ability.
Marath feels like it wants to head a different deck than beast tribal in my opinion.
Mayael... you need to dedicate a lot of your deck to just keeping to puny elf alive long enough to be able to use the ability, as she draws a lot of hate by merely existing. Also a chunk of good beasts have less power than 5.
Johan seems good in theory, but I feel that there are easier ways to vigilance your team and have someone more useful(not to mention actually being a beast) as commander...
If your group is okay with it, you could go with Godsire. That little fellow is basically the epitome of Timmy goodness for Beasts.

Thank you for your input i will take it into consideration as they are helpful. Gahiji is probably going to be the winner for the commander, though Johan will likely be part of the 99 in terms of utility.
Building Marath gives you the option to run Gahiji, as well as add some utility to cover some of the weaknesses you may have other wise encountered (card draw, various types of removal, etc.). That said, if you're not going to take advantage of having a swiss army knife, Gahiji is probably going to be the better option for what you want to do.

just want to point out that with Mareth and Gahiji being both Naya, they can run each other. Just marath is only good as a commander thanks to commander tax.

I'm aware, but as only a 3/3 (and can only ever be a 3/3), I'd say he's not worth a slot unless he's your commander, so my statement still stands.

no he can be more. granted only if someone is playing a stax deck. Which actually does happen as we have 2 stax players at my LGS.
But yea marath is not worth playing just cause stax is a thing.
I'm currently running a Mayael deck that just recently became Beast tribal. Everyone has good suggestions especially the guy that mentioned Contested Cliffs. Other than that a few of my favorite beasts are
Anyway my Brother wants a Naya Beast deck. As for general only 4 seem to be possible Generals. Gahiji, Honored one, Johan, Marath, Will of the Wild, Mayael the Anima

As for beasts to play with...
- Gruul Ragebeast
- Glowering Rogon
- Canopy Crawler
- Krosan Beast
- Krosan Groundshaker
- Krosan Warchief
- Rampaging Baloths
- Shaleskin Bruiser
- Skyshroud War Beast
- Thragtusk
- Woolly Thoctar
- Meglonoth
- Beacon Behemoth
- Garruk's Packleader
- Kurgadon
- Paleoloth
- Rakeclaw Gargantuan
- Renegade Krasis
- Spearbreaker Behemoth
- Spellbreaker Behemoth
- Vagrant Plowbeasts
... there's a lot of meat to pick from.Aether Charge is a must, of course. As is Contested Cliffs. Primeval Bounty is potentially ridiculous (when is that card not?), Thunder of Hooves if you go with enough anthems that your beasts are super-beefy. Wirewood Savage is a thing that exists.

If you do go with Mayael, I would also recommend tossing in a Scroll Rack in case you draw a creature you need, but are scared of counterspells.
