I need some help brainstorming a practical Mass Land Destruction Deck. Ideally it would be partially White because of the convenient Armageddon-like Spells.
Any suggestions on a Commander and some cards to make it practical?
Has a lot of land destruction effects while staying ahead via artifacts and enchantments.
Plenty of games won with this deck while opponents have 0 permanents

Hey guys so I've actually moved on from commander on to 60 card decks so I don't have any commander decks.
Anyway I've started my own gameplay channel in which I play games (Magic also)
Jokulhaups can seal the deal in an enchantment-heavy punisher deck.
Boros Charm in response to MLD works, as does the original Avacyn.
Creature-light decks in a creature-heavy meta can make use of Burning Sands, especially if the deck also gives people creatures to kill, such as Forbidden Orchard or Akroan Horse.
Oh - green can animate lands, making creature-sweepers extra useful.
Just remember that many players will automatically gun for you once they realize you are running MLD, so be ready for the tears.
Run Kaalia. Play her, attach boots and destroy lands. Swing and toss your creatures for the win. You can play Razia's Purification to Cataclysm while running MLD.
For a while I was playing Narset, Enlightened Master as MLD. 10-12 mana rocks, equipment, Sunforger/Isochron Scepter package, everything else wraths and MLD. Cataclysm is nuts with her. Adding blue gets you Sunder, which cast EoT will occasionally make the table concede immediately. Of note: be prepared for people to HATE YOU if you play this.
Thanks for the suggestions and hints. I tried that Ghave deck and I liked it a lot.
I'm trying to think of perhaps a 5C Mass LD Deck. I'm stumbling a bit because in order for Mass Land Destruction to work you generally need to have your opponents creatureless while you still have a creature or planeswalker available.
Any suggestions on the best methods to do this? The only way I can think of to make this work is to stack indestructible effects or try to have enough mana to wipe the board of creatures, cast my creature, and then destroy all lands.
Narset is one of the best color combinations for land destruction, having access to both red and white. Furthermore, she doesn't require mana once she gets going, so casting any sort of land wipe leads to entirely one-sided effects. Finally, being able to sling them out for free truly seals the deal. Most decent Narset builds run at least a minimal amount of MLD.
Like Narset, Zur doesn't require mana to operate once he hits field. However, he doesn't have access to red, which is a minor setback. Still, mana denial is a common sub-theme for most strong Zur decks. [[amrageddon]] and [[cataclysm]] both see heavy play, and non-budget decks will run [[ravages of war]].
Brago is rather unique from the other two in that his main objective is to completely lock down the board until he can combo out with strionic resonator. This means prison / mana denial is his first priority.

That is stax."

Last year I intended to make a Zurgo stax deck, but most of my wins were like: stall them until i get obliterate etc, cast it in my turn and swing with Zurgo for three rounds. Mediocre stax deck, excellent as MLD
I had a lot of fun with a Ruhan of the Fomori deck that ran basically every CMC 2 mana rock it could in order to power him out on turn 3 every game. The plan for turns 4 and onwards were basically to blow up all the lands, play m ore mana rocks, blow up all the lands again, and just keep swinging with Ruhan until everyone was dead.
EDIT: If you want to play this deck more than once, you also need to run Lightning Greaves and everything of its ilk, because Ruhan will become instant Kill-on-Sight once people know your gameplan.
Almost every Jhoira deck I've seen is packed with Armageddon effects that go off as soon as Jhoira's allowed to Suspend Ulamog or some other titan. You could go that route.

I've seen/encountered some mean Zurgo Helmsmasher and Jor Kadeen, the Prevailer lists that run lots of rocks and other nonland manamakers, then regularly MLD for profit. Terra Eternal even spares your lands, while Sun Titan and Crucible of Worlds recur them.

That's a nonbo for land destruction, since it protects all lands.

Keep brewing.
Uril the Miststalker with Shield of the Oversoul + jokulhaups is likewise pretty insane.
Catastrophe does a lot of work in my Ephara deck, sealing the deal when I'm ahead or slow wrathing when I'm behind.
