Always exciting when a new set is spoiled. The chance to find that perfect new card to slot into your deck(s).
..well, at least I won't be struggling to find a cut to make, this set has literally NOTHING I want. Even the Expeditions I already have foils of (Strip Mine, Tomb, Sunken Ruins) :/
Matter Reshaper is going to find a spot in my Marchesa, the Black Rose deck because it is an excellent value engine. At the very least, I get to basically draw a card for every death. Most of the time, though, it will put a land or mana rock or small creature into play, which is even better. Also, it's a 3-drop with good stats, which the deck could always use more of.
And if I ever get around to assembling a Superfriends deck, I'm sure that the Oaths and Call the Gatewatch will find a home in there.
Here are the cards I am potentially going to put into decks:
Actually going through the list, there are a lot more cards I want to try out in EDH decks than I thought and there are more cards in Oath I am looking forward to compared to BFZ.
I'm gonna get a couple copies each Spatial Contortion and Warping Wail. Colorless removal, ramp, and countermagic sound interesting to test.
I'm probably going to get a copy each of Call the Gatewatch, Oath of Gideon, Oath of Chandra, and Oath of Nissa in case I ever truly want to build a superfriends deck. I hope they continue with the Oath of ___ cards, they're fairly cool. Linvala, the Preserver but just for my angel collection. Is she the only angel in the set? Looks like it.
I may get Should to Shoulder because it is 2W Draw a card. Slip through Space is good, gonna get a couple of those. Crush of Tentacles seems like a perfect flavor fit for my Zegana deck. Chandra, Flamecaller seems decent. Pyromancer's Assault also seems decent. Bonds of Mortality anti-voltron is always good to have. Seed Guardian could be fun in Meren, may try that out.
I guess I'll get a copy each of Ayli, Eternal Pilgrim and Jori En, Ruin Diver in case I ever want to build an Eldrazi deck and a counter-burn/tempo list for French.
What do you all think of Hissing Quagmire for Meren?
I suppose I probably should get a copy of Mirrorpool in case it ends up costing like, Dark Depths prices or something.
What Wastes art do y'all prefer? I'm going for the Ulamog ashy skeletal ones personally.
Kind of a mix between new card discussion and an actual buy list for me. I expect the high prices to be on the superfriends cards, foils for the legendaries, and then to an extent on the mythics.
Sea Gate Wreckage and Mirrorpool are the most exciting. I'll pick up those and probably Chandra, Flamecaller, then various other things as I want them or when I feel like putting together a fairly comprehensive order.

[Pr]Jaya | Estrid | A rotating cast of decks built out of my box.
I'm super excited about Ayli, Eternal Pilgrim, since it means I can swap out Lady Evangela and focus my Cleric tribal deck a bit more. And that frees up Esper for another general. Although I'm slightly bummed because I got my Evangela signed by Mark Poole at GP SeaTac. I might slot her in the future Esper deck even if she's not really on theme.
I'm definitely looking at zendikar resurgent. It's going straight into my reactive engine yeva deck. I'll be cutting mana reflection for it. I'll also be looking at the new chandra and possibly nissa's oath as well. The new chandra already has a home in about 4 decks I play.
Before spoilers began i was having fun with a good (but not tier 1) grixis control. The ruin diver guy seems to fit in perfectly. Besides that, i'm not sure control got much love in this set.
A bit early, but I think Nekusar could use Thought-Knot Seer. Exile a card from my opponent's hand and force him to draw a card (and get pinged by all the relevant pingers)?
The oaths have some obvious value for Bant Superfriends.
Card advantage is not the same thing as card draw. Something for 2B cannot be strictly worse than something for BBB or 3BB. If you're taking out Swords to Plowshares for Plummet, you're a fool. Stop doing these things!
Mirri the Cursed is also considering Captain's Claws. Something that gives me free extra creatures is appreciated, but as with in Kemba, I dunno if it'll make enough impact.
Ezuri and Marath are looking at the same cards: Vile Redeemer, Deceiver of Form, and Gladeheart Cavalry. Vile Redeemer seems like a lock, while the others are only a maybe on account of high CMC.
Doran Treefolk Tribal: Stoneforge Masterwork is worth a look. That's sadly it: World Breaker and Ayli, Eternal Pilgrim would both probably be good in the deck but I'm trying to make the creature base 100% Treefolk and Shaman creatures.
Sidisi Self-mill: Corpse Churn looks pretty good for redundancy's sake. I also like the idea of Seed Guardian to help avoid the common problem of the grave-powered creatures being terrible if drawn without any mill. World Breaker is also really solid here. Nice upgrades for the list.
Drana Vampire Tribal: Of course Stoneforge Masterwork is excellent here as well. Kalitas, Traitor of Ghet might be pretty good in the deck, but space is tight. All the other new vamps just seem too slow or narrow compared to existing options.
Sygg Merfolk Tribal: Stoneforge Masterwork, attack! Crush of Tentacles doesn't fit the tribe or add devotion but is a generally solid card. Holdout Settlement is sorta like a spare Springleaf Drum if the deck really can't find a way to get Stonybrook Schoolmaster tapped so maybe it makes the cut...
Sliver Overlord: Stoneforged Masterwork??? Also maybe Holdout Settlement.
The cards that I am most excited to play with are Goblin Dark-Dwellers and World Breaker.
The Goblins are a card that just scream "break me!" to me and I'm really excited to test them out. Wheel is easily the best red spell to pair them with but I'm excited to see what else comes out of them in R/x decks. Breaker is pseudo-uncounterable removal on a good body that can return itself. Both seem awesome.
Honorable mention goes to Matter Reshaper who just has a really awesome ability that I'm excited to find a home for. I was thinking about putting together an Aluren deck so that's probably the first place I'll look.
Cards that might not be good but I want to test anyway Dimensional Infiltrator is getting picked up to test in Circu not necessarily because I think it's good but because it fits the theme of that deck. I removed Mindshrieker and I think this card is more along the lines of what I want to be doing, but we'll see if it ends up being good enough. Sifter of Skulls I'm not really sure if it's that good compared to other cards that do similar things since I'm not too concerned about the body attached, but I'll always have a sac-matters deck of some kind and so he's worth having for the long list.
The "Crazy One", playing casual magic and occasionally dipping his toes into regular play since 1994.
Currently focusing on Pre-Modern (Mono-Black Discard Control) and Modern (Azorious Control, Temur Rhinos).
Find me at the Wizard's Tower in Ottawa every second Saturday afternoons.
Blue Crush of Tentacles - Another good mass-bounce spell that will leave behind an 8/8 Octopus more often than not, especially with mana rocks in your deck. Overwhelming Denial - This is obviously less good with mana rocks, but a lot of blue decks like to play on other people's turns anyway so this will often be Counterspell.
Black Dread Defiler - With the option to exile cards like Lord of Extinction or Serra Avatar, I see a lot of potential. Essence Depleter - My Obzedat "life bleed" deck may want this if I can get the colorless mana to work. Sifter of Skulls - Another possible inclusion for sacrifice oriented decks like Jarad or Prossh. Kalitas, Traitor of Ghet - An interesting creature to build around as a Commander, it also serves a triple purpose as graveyard control, token generator, and sac outlet.
Red Chandra, Flamecaller - I like the flexibility you get; card draw, a sweeper, or a token generator are all things that a lot of red decks want/need. Goblin Dark-Dwellers - Seems like a reasonable way to recur burn spells or removal cards; I also like that it's a Goblin. Pyromancer's Assault - I don't know if this will end up in any of my decks long term, but it seems like something worth trying out (especially in my Gisela burn deck).
Artifact/Land Mirrorpool - This seems like one of those cards that someone will figure out how to pull off some infinite combo, but I like it for it's utility. Sea Gate Wreckage - The opportunity cost is low and the upside is high enough for decks that have trouble drawing cards to want to include this (especially red and white decks that have few options otherwise).
The 3 new man lands. I will probably poach the original 5 + 2 BFZ ones from a different cube I own, and include the full 10 card cycle in my edh cube, probably replacing the bounce-lands entirely.
More Eldrazi Scions for Mazirek, Kraul Death Priest. And I'm really tempted to do a UCTeferi, Temporal Archmage deck themed around manipulating time and space, which many of Kozilek's Eldrazi are perfect for.
Kalitas, Traitor of Ghet - ???
Black Hatebear. Will be put in once my Abzan Hatebear deck eventually gets made.
Chandra, Flamespeaker - Zurgo
Not the most impressive ability but her -X can sweep the board if need be. For that reason, I will be using her.
Kazuul's Toll Collector - Kalemne
Free Equip cost for a very reasonably costed body. Will serve as sort of a "shock trooper" for Kalemne.
World Breaker - Titania
Concerned about its cost, but exiling something seems worth it.
Jori En, Ruin Diver - New Commander
I like her. I can do a mix of spellsling and casting "without paying its mana cost" effects, plus she's not as durdly as Mizzix. Definitely giving her a go.
Reflector Mage - Rasputin
Way better Man'o'War. For decks that heavily rely on their Commander, this will put a wrench in their plans. The Wizard Subtype also helps tremendously with Riptide Laboratory.
Weapons Master - Kalemne
Another Equipment matters card that will buff people.
I'm looking at: Oloro Cliffhaven Vampire: While Oloro doesn't get a lot these days, he goes for quality over quantity. A small drain with every trigger will be very welcome.... it flies too. Karador Ayli, Eternal Pilgrim: This is an instant speed sac outlet with the potential to become a removal engine. It also has deathtouch for some rattlesnake action. Kozilek, the Great Distortion: This guy means business. He helps fill the yard, protects me, and draws cards. Karador does say cast after all. Matter Reshaper: At least a draw - sometimes a freebee. I love it... now I just need more colorless sources. Eldrazi Displacer: Reuses etb effects and messes with voltron/combos... Awesome! Baloth Null: I have a lot of this effect, but it does say two! I'm not sold on him, but I'll probably try him. Bonus points for flavor text (one of few in this set). Kalemne Linvala, the Preserver: This is less unique than her first incarnation, but it is an effect Kalmene wants on a (the) relevant creature type for angel tribal. Good card. Chandra, Flamecaller: It draws a lot of cards. That's really all. Sea Gate Wreckage: Speaking of drawing cards.....
I like this set in general... it feels more unique than battle and higher power level - ingest just isn't exciting.

If I pull a decent expedition then I'm definitely selling it for a new EDH deck, perhaps Horde of Notions or any of the other 6 decks I'm working on. Without looking through the full spoiler, I think that pretty much all of the new potential commanders are pretty playable and will eventually find their ways into a deck of mine although Ayli looks particularly tempting at the moment. The new devoid Dissipate is a worthwhile counter and strict upgrade of the original so may either replace it or be added to decks which have it.
Also full art basics for when I eventually get around to doing a colourless EDH deck will be sweet.

--- Drana, Kalastria Bloodchief --- Ghoulcaller Gisa --- Akroma, Angel of Fury --- Titania, Protector of Argoth ---
I've been looking into a Vela, the Night-Clad devoid for awhile. This set actually brings in enough creatures to maybe make it interesting to build. Deepfathom Skulker, Sifter of Skulls, Deceiver of Forms, Mindmelter, and Deceiver of Forms to name some.
Expedite for Zada, Hedron Grinder. Maybe Brute Strength so I can run Zap. Goblin Dark-Dwellers as well.
Zendikar Resurgent is frustratingly high costed. Still, it's going to be in my Chorus of the Conclave big mana deck. Not sure what I'm going to cut yet.
Shu Yun, the Silent Tempest WUR Voltron Control
Temmet, Vizier of Naktamun WU Unblockable Mirror Trickery
Ra's al Ghul (Sidar Kondo) and Face-Down Ninjas
Brudiclad, Token Engineer

O-Kagachi, Mathas, Mairsil
"Non-Tribal" Tribal Generals, Eggs
Credit to DolZero for this awesome sig!
The oaths have some obvious value for Bant Superfriends.
Crush of Tentacles has obvious value.
Kalitas, Traitor to Ghet may be a traitor to Ghet, but another Gh guy loves him. (I mean Ghave, of course.)
Visions of Brutality with a fight spell might be a cute trick, once.
Chandra, Flamecaller has obvious value in any deck featuring Purphoros.
Vines of the Recluse is a nice combat trick; I mostly use Spidery Grasp for the untap.
Zendikar Resurgent is the new Mana Reflection.
On phasing:
Mirri the Cursed is also considering Captain's Claws. Something that gives me free extra creatures is appreciated, but as with in Kemba, I dunno if it'll make enough impact.
Mayael the Anima is considering Bonds of Mortality, Deceiver of Form, and Mina and Denn, Wildborn.
Ezuri and Marath are looking at the same cards: Vile Redeemer, Deceiver of Form, and Gladeheart Cavalry. Vile Redeemer seems like a lock, while the others are only a maybe on account of high CMC.
Rakdos, Lord of Riots is adding Endbringer, and looking at Flayer Drone (though the Drone seems less useful for the deck than Nettle Drone).
Nekusar might get Thought-Knot Seer. It seems to fit.
Maga and Niv-Mizzet seem to be getting nothing.
,
- UG Ezuri, Claw of Progress The Artist Formerly Known as Kraj,
- R Heartless Hidetsugu Burn it all down .
- G Kamahl, Fist of Krosa/Jolrael, Empress of Beasts Nacatl War-Pride shenanigans.
- WBR Zurgo Helmsmasher Wrath.dec
Daretti Superfriends Control: Chandra, Flamecaller is the big pick-up here for that 0 alone, and an easy replacement for Chandra Nalaar as soon as I can get a copy. Several colorless cards like Warping Wail, Kozilek, the Great Distortion, Matter Reshaper, and Endbringer are interesting but ultimately not good enough I imagine. Sadly Oath of Chandra feels a bit too irrelevant in the format to justify running. I do think I want a Sea Gate Wreckage for the deck despite going heavy mountain to fuel Koth, and would at least be willing to test Seer's Lantern and Mirrorpool

Sliver Overlord: Stoneforged Masterwork??? Also maybe Holdout Settlement.
Jenara Doubling Season Fun Times: Clearly the winning deck: Nissa, Voice of Zendikar, Oath of Nissa, and Oath of Gideon are all great additions, while Steppe Glider, Wall of Resurgence, Crush of Tentacles, Oath of Jace, Gladehart Cavalry, and Nissa's Judgment are all probably too slow but at least worth considering or testing.

Colorless
Deceiver of Form - This plus Worldly Tutor for Ulamog, the Infinite Gyre to turn a team of tokens into 10/10 Indestructible Eldazi each with Annihilator 4....
Endbringer - A nice source of long-term card advantage for decks that can support the colorless mana requirement.
Kozilek, the Great Distortion - This guy means serious business...
White
Eldrazi Displacer - A potential add to blink decks or replacement over Mistmeadow Witch.
Stone Haven Oufitter - I think the scales have finally tipped for me to make a mono-white "Equipment Matters" deck.
Blue
Crush of Tentacles - Another good mass-bounce spell that will leave behind an 8/8 Octopus more often than not, especially with mana rocks in your deck.
Overwhelming Denial - This is obviously less good with mana rocks, but a lot of blue decks like to play on other people's turns anyway so this will often be Counterspell.

Green
Nissa, Voice of Zendikar - I originally thought Nissa was weak, but for only 3 mana you are actually getting a lot.
Seed Guardian - May replace something in my Jarad deck as it can potentially leave behind a big token.
Zendikar Resurgent - Stapling Glimpse of Nature onto Mana Reflection (almost) has combo potential written all over it.
Multicolor
Cliffhaven Vampire - I'm officially calling him "Cliff Clavin Vampire", this will go right into Obzedat.
Mina and Denn, Wildborn - Having another Exploration effect makes a landfall deck all the more likely for me to finally build.
Artifact/Land
Mirrorpool - This seems like one of those cards that someone will figure out how to pull off some infinite combo, but I like it for it's utility.
Sea Gate Wreckage - The opportunity cost is low and the upside is high enough for decks that have trouble drawing cards to want to include this (especially red and white decks that have few options otherwise).

Equipment-matters will surely be a good thing to have.
Slip Through Space - Jori
Cantrip ability and cheap. I like it.

Animar
World Breaker: This has some nice utility. It is an exiling slime that shamelessly holds down the air.
Karador
Ayli, Eternal Pilgrim: This is an instant speed sac outlet with the potential to become a removal engine.
Kalemne
Linvala, the Preserver: This is less unique than her first incarnation, but it is an effect Kalmene wants on a (the) relevant creature type for angel tribal. Good card.
Chandra, Flamecaller: It draws a lot of cards. That's really all.
