I'm sure there's a use for this kind of mana-upon-sac stuff. Never used them myself though.

My Commander decks:
Chandra, Torch of Defiance - Oops! All Chandras.
Prime Speaker Zegana - Draw for Power.
Pir & Toothy - Counterpalooza.
Arcades, the Strategist - Another Brick in the Wall.
Zacama, Primal Calamity - Calamity of Double Mana.
Edgar Markov - Vampires Don't Die.
Child of Alara - Dreamcrusher.
I find these Blood Pet-esque cards interesting. I feel some day there will be a supporting general that will enable some really broken shenanigans, but they're not quite there yet.
I could see Morgue Toad possibly having a combo-ish role in a Marchesa, the Black Rose or Thraximundar deck that was going down the self-sacrifice/recur route, though I've never played either general.
It could potentially do interesting things with Nim Deathmantle, which is already a very good card.
Too bad it isn't 1 power for Shirei. It's another interesting blood pet, but you've got to be thinking pretty far outside the box to make this one useful.

You can't put this in shirei because of the symbols on it, and outside of edh you've got Lifeline for him.
At first glance it's useless, but it has a few things going for it:
- It's a cheap flier, meaning Edric might want to look at it
- It has a roughly 30% chance of going back to your hand after it dies, higher with library manipulation.
- It has a relevant creature type.
This doesn't make it good, but hey...

Please no jokes about it's french name; you're not being funny or original if you do.
...Wow. That is ridiculously unfortunate.
Anyway, onto the new card. I honestly don't see a place for this in anything I would play, sadly. I'm even trying to make a faeries deck, and I just don't see a use for it.
It's not too bad. In addition to what was already mentioned, it's library manipulation on death, which in a format as battlecruiser heavy as edh tends to be, is going to happen sooner or later. Gives you a better chance to replace it with non chaff?
The reusable clash gives you a Precognition on your opponent. Could me valuable in a Nebuchadnezzar "spy" EDH deck where you want to know ppls draw.
Someone said clamp but it's also not bad in a voltron aggro with Swords, I could see this guy being really pesky if he keeps coming back and equipping. It's good nonblack recursion, but the evasion makes it strong compared to another zombie...
Given that it costs 1U for just a 1/1 flyer (and admittedly a "you and target player scry 1" on death trigger) if you lose the clash, it shouldn't stay, it should just go.

Card advantage is not the same thing as card draw. Something for 2B cannot be strictly worse than something for BBB or 3BB. If you're taking out Swords to Plowshares for Plummet, you're a fool. Stop doing these things!
Pretty weak card. Like ya'll have said, possibly funny with Skullclamp or in some sort of Sage of Fables + Ashnod's Altar loop or as a "spy" for Nebuchadnezzar or Isperia the Inscrutable or in a very, very budget Oona tribal or Edric rush list, but you can almost always do better either by directly replacing this card or by doing a more profitable draw/library manipulation engine. 1/10.

I played against an aggressive Drana, Liberator of Malakir deck a lil while ago which used this card to great effect, using Liliana of the Dark Realms to keep the swamps flowing. It's a powerful anthem effect and stacks nicely with fetchlands and its ilk, but it's base body and relatively high mana cost do usually hold it back. Still, black-based (token) aggro can make very good use of it.

I've only encountered it playing Magic duels against the AI... and it usually dies before accomplishing much. Then again, my decks in Duels tend to have a lot of removal.
I want to like this card, really, I do. The 6 cmc just stops it from getting play from me, if it were 5 I think I'd be all over it.
My brother in law and his friends play a weird multiplayer variant that I actually think this would be decent in. Mostly because they don't play with combos.
(They start with 8 cards. You may play any number of lands per turn, but may only play lands once per turn. Draw back to a full hand of 7 at the beginning of your turn. They call it "Berzerker")
I slotted her into Drana 1.0 to get her back to her tribal roots a bit. Would be better with more fetchlands in the deck, but I'm getting fetches primarily for the actual color-fixing in decks that need it, first. Sorry Guul Draz Overseer and Titania
It's still quite a bit for a six mana conditional Orcish Oriflamme, even one that admittedly gets better if you add green.

Seems like we're staying on a Zendikari Landfall theme with Hedron Scrabbler.

I think blue may have better things to do that a convoluted 4 mana, draw 2 cards. Like playing Future Sight instead.

amazingly epic sig courtesy of DarkNightCavalier at Heroes of the Planes.
I'd use her in my now gone Marrow-Gnawer MonoRat, except for her creature type.

I'd say BG at least. Ghave, Guru of Spores and Prossh, Skyraider of Kher are other options. Hell, even Kresh the Bloodbraided if your goal is to turn those tokens into +1/+1 counters for Kresh. Naturally I'm using Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth or Prismatic Omen to make everything a swamp.
