If looking for evasion alone, Trailblazer's Boots and Prowler's Helm tend to be just about as good without the damage drawback. Plus, having an equip of 2 outweighs having a casting cost of 1.

The Meaning of Life: "M-hmm. Well, it's nothing very special. Uh, try and be nice to people, avoid eating fat, read a good book every now and then, get some walking in, and try and live together in peace and harmony with people of all creeds and nations"
Onering's 4 simple steps that let you solve any problem with Magic's gameplay
Whether its blue players countering your spells, red players burning you out, or combo, if you have a problem with an aspect of Magic's gameplay, you can fix it!
Step 1: Identify the problem. What aspect of Magic don't you like? Step 2: Find out how others deal with the problem. How do players deal with this aspect of the game when they run into it? Step 3: Do what those players do. Step 4: No more problem. Bonus: You are now better at Magic. Enjoy those extra wins!
Its low stats and high CMC prevent it from being a format all-star, but it's still a solid roleplayer in decks that enjoy having an array of options on their cards. Neither of it's effects on their own are worth the hefty mana cost though.
Slam-dunk in Epic Grin.dec though.

I beg to differ here. Even at the steep cost of 6, it is one of the only ways to deal with Planeswalkers in Mono-Green. Flicker effects make it stronger, and it's really a solid body being a 3/3. One of the more "fair" ways to deal with problematic lands as well.
Speaking of which... I once had a game where I kicked Rite of Replication on this bugger with Paralell Lives on the field. I won that game...

Iunno, my way of dealing with PW's in mono-green tends to be "Apply creatures to face until problem ceases to exist" but that may just be me.

Well, I wouldn't say that's "unique" to Mono-G. There will always be times that you just can't push through. I'm actually glad this popped up for today, as it is currently missing from my Polkuranos "Come at be 'Bro" deck.
He's a really strong card, in my opinion. A choice of two great effects (bonus points for getting around indestructibility), terrifying art, and a terrifying prospect of a creature type to back up that face that no mother could love. Not to say that he's an auto include, but in Karador, where his cmc and p/t are largely irrelevant, I'm never sad to see him.
I enjoyed him in Maelstrom Wanderer as a combination of topdeck manipulation and versatile removal. He's always worth considering for the 6 spot in a Pod chain, IMO.

Card advantage is not the same thing as card draw. Something for 2B cannot be strictly worse than something for BBB or 3BB. If you're taking out Swords to Plowshares for Plummet, you're a fool. Stop doing these things!
Absolute superbeast of a card in my Patron of the Orochi list. For one mana more than Acidic Slime, you get removal that hits any noncreature and gets around indestructibility, or you can Worldly Tutor. Tech as hell. The steep'ish cost and underwhelming body stop it from being an autoinclude, but any blink-happy or big mana Gx contraption needs to think about this guy.

Well, let me ask, what "Non-Creature" removal do you prefer over this? Desert Twister? The non-modal, flicker free Mold shambler? Like, for reals, this is a pretty efficient creature for what he brings to the table. "I'll take the body and the effect for 1000 Alex."
Well, let me ask, what "Non-Creature" removal do you prefer over this?
Personally? I prefer Destructor Dragon (4/4 flying >
3/3 on the ground), Chain of Acid (you'd be surprised how many players refuse to copy it), Primal Command (tutor to hand, plus you get two modes instead of one), Terastodon (3 permanents > 1, 9/9 > 3/3), and Woodfall Primus (2 permanents > 1, 6/6 or 5/5 trample > 3/3).
Also Beast Within, of course. Some decks can make Tornado particularly scary, too.

I'm going to call BS on the dragon... Requiring a death trigger is a strict downgrade regardless of the +1 P/T and evasion.
As far as reusability, your not going to get a ton of mileage out of Primal Command, same for CoA.
Obviously Terastodon is top dog with Woodfall Primus a close second, but both of those are targets for clone/theft/reanimation that unless my decks can deal with the potential for a symmetrical effect, or just capitalize on their effects, they usually find themselves on the sidelines. Also, Terastodon has that stigma about it that instantly triggers the groans from the table. Also, neither of those get around Indestructible.
To each their own, but I'll take the overall usefulness, potential for both reanimation and flicker shenanigans, splashable cost, as well as being a low-key theft/clone target over the others. Also, fatesealing cannot be underrated, with almost all decks utilizing their GY to some extent, bottoming a particularly troublesome card can be incredibly useful.
All I see is 6 cmc and think this looks pretty bad.
I think stifle is a pretty good card. Countering abilities is surprisingly relevevant and it's low cmc leads it to being an excellent card for surgically dismantling opposing strategies at minimal tempo loss.
Brutalizer exarch is a Worldly Tutor that costs 500% more mana at sorcery speed and you get an irrelevant 3/3 body. Noncreature removal option is also mostly irrelevant. Green has many efficient ways to remove artifacts and enchantments. Planeswalkers are pretty low impact cards and you can beat them in combat. Green also mas multiple answers to lands also in colorless options such as ghost quarter, wasteland, strip mine, dust bowl etc. and remove everything answers like Wave of Vitriol.
If you're so concerned about indestructible noncreatures, I would recommend Deglamer and Unravel the Æther, both of which I started running after the Theros gods became popular.
It's true those two can't hit lands or planeswalkers, but it's pretty rare for lands or planeswalkers to be indestructible, and indestructibility doesn't protect planeswalkers very much, anyway.
