Mostly I use her with three types of cards: 1) cards with major downsides, 2) auras, and 3) symmetrical effects.
7/10 fun Johnny card

Card advantage is not the same thing as card draw. Something for 2B cannot be strictly worse than something for BBB or 3BB. If you're taking out Swords to Plowshares for Plummet, you're a fool. Stop doing these things!
Mine tries to win by either donating Form of the Dragon to Brand on end step for an upkeep kill or double up damage and burn people out. Zedru is just so fun and certainly changes the way you think about cards like O ring as a card draw source and removal.

EDH BRGKresh the BloodbraidedBRG, A box of lands and ideas.
Modern: RG Titanshift. A deck made of cards too stupid for EDH.
Retired: Lots. More than I feel you should suffer through or I should type out.
If people are sick of reading about stuff just stop taking part. You have 100% control over what you read. Simic Ascendancy isn't going to get banned just because you didn't tell someone to shut up on the internet.

Built it, played it, dismantled it. I was happy to just give away lands, and play control. People run out of gas long before you do, and eventually you just have more than they can handle, even trading one-for-one.
I really like how Dechs Kaison built his Pristaxcontrombmodruu, built around Enduring Ideal. Zedruu is a funny-looking card that's also fun to build around and play.
Played a few variants of Zedruu, settled into voltron spiced with the occasional stuff that's nicely evil to donate and a good handful of use-and-donate's to top off. Create a snowball in the form of an Antelope Minotaur Monk as the cards pile up and she gets harder to stop.

yea i actually liked the old art styles.. they were more varied, but at the same time there were definitely distinct styles, rather than this more-of-the-samey-digital-art thing. foglio/saunders/nielson/ferguson/fay jones (i think is an actual professional artist who was an aunt of garfield's, i think)/amy weber
but back onto the card, ive got a stack of them at home, but i dont think ive EVER used it.. casual/type 2/whatever format, i dont think ive ever used them. its a shame, i think, but there are so many cards like this that just don't really make the cut. and im a player who likes using rubbish/janky cards, and even i dont ever remember casting this!

To be fair, its probably really, really hot in Jamuraa.

The Meaning of Life: "M-hmm. Well, it's nothing very special. Uh, try and be nice to people, avoid eating fat, read a good book every now and then, get some walking in, and try and live together in peace and harmony with people of all creeds and nations"
Onering's 4 simple steps that let you solve any problem with Magic's gameplay
Whether its blue players countering your spells, red players burning you out, or combo, if you have a problem with an aspect of Magic's gameplay, you can fix it!
Step 1: Identify the problem. What aspect of Magic don't you like? Step 2: Find out how others deal with the problem. How do players deal with this aspect of the game when they run into it? Step 3: Do what those players do. Step 4: No more problem. Bonus: You are now better at Magic. Enjoy those extra wins!
these old artworks were a driving factor for me to start play this game. i miss seing beatifull art. all those new flashy cards with too much going on will never carry the power of silence. calm can be a strength and for some reason this card really expresses that.especially the newest set reflects todays worlds hectic and stress as everyone in that magic set is searching with them clues - but do they even know what for? do we know why we do?
Silence, great word.
Same here. The diversity of the past artwork was superior to today's almost-the-same CG style; flashy, dramatic quotes, intend to look badass, but less substance. It's like comparing Kurosawa's movies to Captain Hydra.
Yeah, one problem I have had with more recent arts (and some old Ron Spencers) is that there's so much trying to grab your attention, where it's sometimes more poignant to have an empty space to force the eye where we want.

Seriously, Word of Command would be refreshing by now, although I doubt Wizards would pay an artist for this kind of art anymore
I guess it's fairly telling that I did remember what the art looked like but wasn't sure what the card did, as I clicked here...
So many better ways to produce a one-off anthem effect, and a billion ways to make it repeatable too. Even if your deck rode the really thin niche of 'instant (or sorcery) anthem effect', there's more than a few better ways to get 'em. Such is life, I guess.

I guess if you need that sort of effect to the level of ludicrous redundancy... but then you wouldn't have space for actual creatures.
