I recent took Journeyer's Kite out of my Dakkon deck. I'd previously considered it a core card, but - especially now that I've got a copy of Land Tax - paying 3 for a basic in the hand seems little a bit much. Though I feel it's the right decision, I'm sad to see the card go.
I'm additionally considering cutting the three scry lands from my Intet deck. I always thought they were perfect for that general, but with Life from the Loam and Lotus Cobra in there I really want to run a bunch of slow fetches: some combination of Mountain Valley, Terramorphic Expanse, Evolving Wilds, and Myriad Landscape. I don't want too many lands the enter tapped and I want to keep my basic count high, so the scry lands are probably going to have to go.
What cards have y'all cut from decks that you never thought you would?
Sensei's Divining Top - awesome card, but out of consideration for the time it takes to use it properly, I've cut it from most of my EDH decks.
This. Though I don't own divining top, lots of choice cards have been cut form my decks simply due to the lag that they add to the game - mostly tutors and cards that create impossible stack/board states.
Cultivate/Kodama's Reach. Just feels like there's more I could be doing for CMC 3. Indeed, artifact mana takes the place of land-based ramp in a lot of my decks, since there is little hate for mass board states filled with artifacts in my group. Spot removal is still around, but nobody looks at a Coalition Relic to destroy when there's a Vedalken Shackles or a Sword of X/Y on the battlefield.
Shimmer in my mono-blue decks. That moment after someone plays Urborg, Tomb of yawgmoth, I name Swamp, and everyone freaks. Then I explain how phasing works with cards like tomb of yawgmoth, and that while it's phased out it doesn't affect phased in lands. That sigh of relief and then further realizing that when Urborg phases back in, everyone's lands go out for a turn and when Urborg is phased out only actual swamps phase out. The mix of confusion, relief, and dread made it worth running for the longest time, but after a while and more people play control, it just get's countered and we all move on. I ended up cutting it cause it stopped doing anything.
I have a very easy time cutting Sol Ring. All of my generals are build around, so if their cost doesn't have colorless in it, then I typically don't include it.
Insurrection in my Norin deck and Necropotence in my maga deck. The cards do so much in the decks they are in, but it's time for them to go for less shenanigans and into a deck that can really use them.
Hey guys so I've actually moved on from commander on to 60 card decks so I don't have any commander decks.
Anyway I've started my own gameplay channel in which I play games (Magic also)

I've started not even including sol ring in list ideas, because I find that there's usually better 2 drops and mana accelerators that are not only on theme, but much cheaper to get than having sol ring.

Dropped it for Crucible of Worlds and never looked back. I blow my lands up far too often, and caged sun was always such an immediate target. Building my land base back up with crucible is far more efficient and somehow less threatening than Sun was, and it enables my slow deck to do more with my self-sacrifice lands.
