Well it looks like the article has gone live. Unfortunately Sheldon wasn't able to get to the questions asked in the last couple of days, but it's a great article nonetheless.
hmm, my question didn't really get an answer I think.....I'm sure there will be a more in-depth one when Origins comes out
Not sure what detail you're hoping to get. They're legal.
I think what i was hoping for, which i realize now i should have just asked "if a legendary creature get flipped into their PW form are they still a legal commander?"

If there's interest, I can do a Q&A followup thread here to catch stuff that didn't make it.
That would be cool. One disappointing thing (yet understandable) is that we usually only get questions directed at Sheldon, and rarely get to hear responses from multiple members. Plus, I really want to hear you troll us with your answers.

Commanderness is a property of the card. Think Erayo (while it was legal).

I think it would be pretty cool maybe a few months down the road for there to be another Q&A directed at Toby, which I'd publish as a normal article. Different perspectives and all. I'll keep the idea in the hopper.
Given your interest in wine, do you enjoy any cheaper ($12-17) wines on a semi-regular basis, and if so, what are a few examples?
Also, do you think that another distinct format (i.e. not Tiny Leaders or Duel Commander) will ever attain the success of EDH prior to direct WotC support?

The short answer to that question is no, because the appeal of those formats is narrower. It's not a better/worse thing, it's just that the appeal of EDH/Commander reaches into the less competitive crowd, in which the raw number of players is orders of magnitude greater.

(I think you may have missed the 'not' in my parenthetical. In fact, I was more wondering about the likelihood of another broad, casual-oriented format.)
Sadly, it looks like you are much more into blends at that price range than I am, though I'll likely look out for the Cabs, Cellars Can Blau Montsant (One of my current favorite wines is the Las Rocas Viñas Viejas Garnacha), and d'Arenbergs. On the <$30 list I'm somewhat surprised about Chateau Ste. Michelle; I was under the impression that while they sold a large selection, most weren't anything to write home about. I'll have to look out for that one, though; my parents and I both like Riesling a lot.
As a judge, what do you feel was the hardest decision that you have had to make in terms of infractions? Do you feel that you have majorly penalized someone for the wrong reason?
Yeah, sorry, I did miss the parenthetical "not." My answer is basically the same, though. Only by appealing to a broad player base could a format become so successful. We can argue all day if something of limited appeal is "better" than the popular thing (it's my general experience that it is), but popularity is, well, popularity.
The Dr. Loosen Eroica is the only Ch. Ste. Michelle that I've had that's any good. It's become one of our staples. I really can't oversell how good d'Arenberg wines are, from the Stump Jump all the way up to the Coppermine Road Cab, they're always consistently above the curve on the quality-to-price ratio.
The hardest decision is the one for which you have no empirical evidence. When you have two people telling you different stories with nothing to prove either point, you have to dig deep into your toolbox to figure out what the right call is. The good news is that if you judge enough Magic, you have a pretty good idea of what went on.
I think the toughest call I ever made was the Charles Gindy DQ at Worlds. By our rules at the time, it was a DQable offense. I explored options on deviating with some top judging minds (like Toby), but it was the correct call in the bigger picture to not deviate. It doesn't mean I was completely happy with it--it gave me sympathy for (actual) judges who have to deal with mandatory minimums.
So, where is this article? Sorry, but it is NOT easy to find. It isn't linked here; it isn't linked in the mtgcommander.net thread, I did a search on Sheldon's profile here and on mtgcommander.net looking for it, nor could I find anything after putting a few google searches for "sheldon may 2015 Q&A article" I couldn't find anything, and not for a lack of trying. It shouldn't be this difficult to find, nor should I be expected to just know where to go.

"Whatever style you wish to play, be it fast and frenzied or slow and tactical, the surest way to defeat your opponent consistently is by dominating him or her in the war of card advantage." - Brian Wiseman, April 1996
I know your scheduled release date is fluid (I remember it was Wednesday before, and IIRC it was also Friday at one point too, correct?), but is it still on a specific day and every week? I feel like I haven't been seeing your article on the same day any more and every once in a while there won't be one that week. I'm I crazy, or have there been inconsistencies?
Occasionally there have been. I tend to get my stuff in well in advance of my deadline, so sometimes if Cedric has holes in the Wednesday content, he'll move me back. I don't mind the fluidity if it helps the site in general. A few weeks back, I skipped a week during finals. About two months ago, my article was written on Friday (for my Tuesday deadline), and I simply forgot to send it in--so I had nothing that week as well.

Thanks for informing us of the modified Gis mulligan, Sheldon. I'm going to incorporate that into the research I am doing.

No, getting called names invigorates me
At a certain point, you just don't feel it anymore. To quote the "great" Patrick Swayze in the "great" film Roadhouse, "Pain don't hurt."

I've done two blog posts about wine under $15 and wine under $30.
