I'm looking for wincons for a Keranos, God of Storms spellslinger list I'm putting together. I'll post it here eventually for people to critique. Most of the decks I've built in the past have centered around attacking with creatures, but for this one I'd like to pack as many instants & sorceries into the deck as I can.
I want this deck to be enjoyable to play against, so what's the best way to actually close out a game without using MLD, Infinite combos or Extra Turn effects?
Feel free to mention other hidden gems that might be relevant, because I'm new to the archetype - but mainly I'm looking for ways to actually kill a player once I've got the board under control.
My Melek Build - (here) typically winds up winning the game with a very-lethal Molten Psyche (after playing most of the draw-7's ever printed).
There's lots of big mana in here - but short of Mana Geyser + Reiterate, there isn't any infinites that I can recall.
I suppose it's possible to win via Mana Geyser + Increasing Vengeance + Fascination (2nd Mode)
I used to run Firemind's Foresight to find the infinite Reset + Reiterate + Bolt/Sapphire Charm combo - but I don't run Reset anymore.
I play in a few different groups, and (based on my experience from those) it seems that storm is about as maligned as extra turns are. Particularly if you have a huge turn (that takes a while) and fizzle.
Eternal Dominion could get out of hand real fast if you've copied it a couple of times. Undying Flames not so much but again, copied it could close games out quickly.
Empty the Warrens is usually a precursor to generating absurd mana with Brightstone Ritual, but dozens of 1/1s can still close out a game. Insurrection is a powerful spell on its own, but on occasion it's simply a mass haste for my goblins. Haze of Rage works decently on either an army of goblin tokens or on my general himself, and Ignite Memories can certainly close out a game, although it can be dicey. Comet Storm, of course, is the simplest, just burn their faces off. Runechanter's Pike is excellent for getting in with general damage; I've had a game where I resolved Time Spiral, and the same turn I equipped Melek with Runechanter's Pike, Sword of Feast and Famine, and hit for 21 general damage in a single combat phase.
Chandra, Torch of Defiance - Oops! All Chandras.
Prime Speaker Zegana - Draw for Power.
Pir & Toothy - Counterpalooza.
Arcades, the Strategist - Another Brick in the Wall.
Zacama, Primal Calamity - Calamity of Double Mana.
Edgar Markov - Vampires Don't Die.
Child of Alara - Dreamcrusher.

Some effects I'm aware of already:
