hey guys.
I'm running cards like tithe, land tax, gift of estates etc in my mono white Avacyn deck, and on the off chance that I am ahead on lands, what are some good ways to purposefully put myself behind on lands (even just temporarily) so that these cards might still be able to trigger?
I can only think of Karoo and Flickerwisp.

thank you for the ideas so far, but I guess I was kind of looking for cards that could generally be good by themselves. I realize that not too many exist, but hey.
As a fellow Mono-White player, I also deal with this all the time. Triggering/activating those land searching cards can be tricky sometimes. It's often easier to resolve them in multi player games than 1 vs.1 matches.
1. You can simply hold back playing a land for turn and let your opponents get ahead for a turn.
2. You can pass on going first if you win the opening die roll if you have any Land Taxing effect cards in your opening hand.
3. If there is a green player at the table, it's usually a safe bet (not always though) they will have some sort of land ramp in the early turns, and you'll be able to use your cards soon enough.
This may seem roundabout, but have you considered moving a larger part of your mana base over to artifacts? If you are running a sufficient amount of 2-drop accelerators (Mind Stone, Star Compass, Marble Diamond, Coldsteel Heart, Pearl Medallion, etc) you can get by with less lands in the deck. Mox Diamond is always a nice choice. Mox Opal depends on your specific deck, but it also works. Chrome Mox usually completes the set, but I'm wary about running it in decks that do not have enough CA, such as mono white.
- You can activate Wasteland or a fetchland, and in response, activate Weathered Wayfarer or cast Tithe. Sacrifice is part of the cost, so temporarily, you are down one land. Only works with the ones you can activate/cast as an instant though.
- Flickerwisp can target your own land to temporarily go down in lands.
- Path to Exile gives a land to a player, though it's a "may"
- Want to second artifact mana, especially Mox Diamond which has so much synergy with Land Tax and similar cards especially if you run Crucible of Worlds.
I run many land tutors in my mono white. While it doesn't help enable, I wanted to add that Archangel's Light is actually playable with things like Land Tax pitching 3 cards to the graveyard every turn.
I'm not sure if this would be useful but how about equipoise, would that help with triggers somewhere?

as a mono-white player, do you find yourself ahead in the lands-race often? i dont think i've ever had that 'problem'.
if you're ahead on mana, you're probably winning and your gift of estates becomes a discard bait; if you're behind, then you've just upped yourself 3 plains.
but either way, dust bowl. i think its better than strip mine/wasteland, since it just continues to bash problem lands all game long.
Yeah, I run Gift of Estates, Land Tax and Tithe in nearly every non-G deck, and even some Green ones, and I've never had this issue more than once or twice. First, I'm not playing first around 75% of the time. Second, someone playing behind me always casts Kodama's Reach or something.
And last, I am usually playing a deck whose mana budget is such that I'll naturally miss a land drop if these get stranded in my hand, and I won't be adversely affected by it that once. Then missing the drop automatically corrects that situation most of the time.
Not Aura Fracture? It's easy, massive, instant speed enchantment removal on a stick, triggers all the cards you mentioned, and shuts down Enchantment based builds easily. Works stupidly well with Crucible of Worlds.
As a mono white player myself I would say your best tactic would be to play mono white
But in all seriousness if you are ahead or on par with other decks (especially if there is at least one green player) then you're doing awesome and should just save them in your hand until the green deck inevitably ramps.

also, I am aware that tithe and weathered wayfarer work with fetches.

4. Run Strip mine, Wasteland, Tectonic Edge, Ghost quarter, Dust Bowl to hit another player at the table or even yourself if you really have to.
5. Run Claws of Gix (outstanding card) in your deck, it's extremely versatile and will help you when wanting to get your land search going.
6. If you run Armageddon, Ravages of war, Catastrophe, or Cataclysm, these are all useful if it fits your playstyle as well.
7. If your really hellbent on getting your land search cards to work, run Zuran Orb.
8. Some games unfortunately, you'll just have to wait and ride it out till an opportunity arises.
9. Overall, Claws of Gix, and Dust bowl are my top suggestions, as they are are always useful during the course of a game.
Good Luck.

Lotus Vale or Scorched Ruins too, if Wasteland/Strip Mine are uncommon in your meta.
Once you've searched up sufficient lands, Walking Atlas and Terrain Genertor can help you get them on the board.
