I run it with Pyrohemia in my Wort deck. I get 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13, 21 hydras...
woah....weird, I've never seen a real-life (well, sorta real-life) application of Fibonacci numbers.
yeah, it's pretty cool, and makes calculating the number of tokens easy on the first turn you start doing it. Things get more complicated once the damage clears, though.
Agrus Kos, Wojek Veteran - one of my favourite legends, but there are so many ways he could be better. Why must the effect be colour specific, and couldn't it like hang around when it's not your turn?
I've tried to build a Chisei, Heart of Oceans deck which doesn't suck many times. And failed.

I have one put together on a spreadsheet, that I am trying not to put in paper as it does things that a newer playgroup probably doesn't deserve.
No idea if it's any good though, but I find Chisei super interesting (if bad).

so you know, i've been experimenting with that synergising with age counters. breath of dreams, musician, mystic remora and possibly tidal control could go well with it. otherwise, they're pretty fringe-playable, if at all...
"Whatever style you wish to play, be it fast and frenzied or slow and tactical, the surest way to defeat your opponent consistently is by dominating him or her in the war of card advantage." - Brian Wiseman, April 1996
I run triple shrines in two different decks. In both cases, I mostly wanted Seeing Winds, and adding the other two makes Seeing Winds better. However, in the Grixis deck, both Night's Reach and Infinite Rage advance the deck's gameplan somewhat as well, and the Jeskai deck has an enchantment theme (including things like Serra's Sanctum and Sphere of Safety), so the extra enchantments are welcome.
Call of teh wild is good with the right deck. I mean lets take Sesnei's diving top. I'll make this mono green for the sake of argument.
You top and see forest, Avenger of Zendikar and harmonize.
Rearange so avenger is on top and then activate call of the wild before your turn. Boom, avenger of zendikar and and token, plus you are bound to geta forest. Either draw harmonize and cast it or draw the forest and play it. now you have a bunch of 1/2s that can attack.
Deep Spawn for me. A 6/6 trampler who helps fill your graveyard and has an (albeit not so good) self-defense mechanism? And a giant lobster?! Too bad he costs 8...
And you get to be a samurai. And you get to be a samurai. And you get to too. And you! And EVERYBODY gets to be a samurai!!!!

Oh man, I love Sensei Golden-Tail... I've been tempted to make Fox tribal for a WHILE there, as I love their aesthetic, which brings me to my biggest pile of bad cards that I love to use...
99% of the Kamigawa block. There are some good cards, some GREAT cards, but the strategies overall? The themes? Very under powered, especially for EDH. And it's sad. I loved the Splice onto Arcane deck but it's impossible in the Singleton format, even disregarding the lack of actually powerful spells. Soulshift? Over costed spirits on lack luster bodies. The Moonfolk? Interesting with landfill, but most of the abilities suck. So on and so forth. I LOVE the aesthetic, and will be ecstatic when (if...) they return to Kamigawa. Maybe one day I'll get one of those theme decks to work.
I guess a lot of really thematic decks fall into a similar boat. Commander has a LOT of variety, but some things just don't translate well. Such a pity.

And that's why I always make thematic EDH decks. I'll always try to balance playability/competitiveness/and flavor

I've used deep spawn in multiple reanimator edh decks and it was awesome, partly for the lolz and partly because it's actually half decent in reanimator. The best part is when people read it for the first time and they look at you like "why are you playing this terrible card?" and then you pretend it's totally busted for a couple seconds, then fess up that you're playing it because it's just hilarious and then go on to try to convince them that "really, it's pretty solid in reanimator".
I wanted to build a red/black deck around Eon Hub that was full of horrible fat creatures with terrible upkeep effects, like Chaos Lord and Lord of the Pit
My pet card is Malignant Growth. I've been trying to play it in anything since it was in standard. I will find it a home some day, and it will be glorious.

Riku, running Molten Psyche, Sudden Impact, Spiraling Embers, and Cerebral Vortex maybe? Add in some stax-y elements so they can't actually play any of the cards, some group draw, some Windfall effects so you get some card draw out of it too, and play until the one game where you don't just accelerate your opponent into a faster win.

[Pr]Jaya | Estrid | A rotating cast of decks built out of my box.
She is my favorite female planeswalker, and even though she doesnt fit the UR Niv-Mizzet build, I just have to have her side-by-side with Jace Beleren.
I have the Japanese duel deck version of her, so I'm rather obliged to use it. That said, I have managed to pull off her ultimate a couple of times with Gisela, Blade of Goldnight in play, which is always fun.
I'm the same way. I snagged a JapDD Chandra, so I feel obligated to run her in my Ashling deck. To be honest though, She's gotten work done. 6 Loyalty is a lot for a 5CMC 'Walker.
Mana Tithe, just because I always wanted to counter a huge game winning spell with an extremely situational one-mana white counter. Still has yet to happen, even in decks running Sunforger.
Yeah, non-blue counters in general (Mana Tithe, Avoid Fate, Mages' Contest, Withering Boon, Not of this World) I am always really excited about jamming in decks without blue. They are unexpected and fun for the table, but ultimately they always get cut for something those colours are good at doing.
Lapse of Certainty is actually a pretty decent white counterspell. It's just a Memory Lapse that costs 1 extra mana. It can even be used to tuck a Commander if you have a way to make that player shuffle their library.

I always answer the Legendary Kamigawa Shrines. I have an Esper deck and I always want to play: Honden of Cleansing Fire + Honden of Night's Reach + Honden of Seeing Winds.
Ahh, the only other cards I can think of that I've played in a legitimate commander deck for lulz have been Dwarven Pony, Dwarven Sea Clan, and Goblin Game.
