So I built an Esper stoneblade deck using Oloro, Ageless Ascetic. It's basically a goodstuff deck with some life gain synergy. I'm looking for the best creatures to hold swords, jittes, whatever. The following cards are in my deck:
So the deck has some recursion. Dark Confidant and Snapcaster Mage are among it's goodies. Lots of enchantments, some of the Theros gods, so I think I'm going to grab a Zur, the Enchanter.
So I've got two good double strikers in Mirran Crusader and Drogskol Reaver. If there are any other double strikers in those colors or creatures that have good abilities when they connect with players would be cool. Creatures with evasion and other nifty abilities would fit the bill, too. Help me out guys.
Daxos of Meletis is a great sword-bearer as well, and gives additional lifegain for Oloro triggers. Puresteel Paladin gives you some card advantage and free mana, should you run enough artifacts/equipment.
Card advantage is not the same thing as card draw. Something for 2B cannot be strictly worse than something for BBB or 3BB. If you're taking out Swords to Plowshares for Plummet, you're a fool. Stop doing these things!
I don't currently have a SoFaI so that's why it's not included. After thinking about it Geist of Saint Traft would be good so I need to run one of those down. I'll give Daxos of Meletis a chance. I guess I was trying to find dudes that I wouldn't feel terrible about playing without a sword in play but it seems like most of the double striker or unblockable guys are pretty vanilla. Thanks for all the help.

While the little dudes with evasion and/or double strike aren't the fanciest, from my experience with an equipment heavy RW deck (the general varies depending on my mood), they are far more powerful than bigger, flashier creatures. An early Kor Duelist with a SoFaI can be amazing - easily drawing you half a dozen or more cards, shocking a bunch of utility dude (including some generals) and taking a chunk out of your opponents life totals. Similarly, a Skyhunter Skirmisher with a Jitte can rack up the counters on it at an extremely rapid rate. I'd much rather good early game cards to get me in a commanding position than a late game threat like Drogskol Reaver.
In an equipment-heavy build, I've found the small guys to be the best. In Tajic, Blade of the Legion voltron, one of the best creatures in the deck is Kor Duelist. Connecting with a doublestriker wielding Umezawa's Jitte on turn 2 or 3 can be devastating.
If you find yourself without a lot of creatures on the board at the time, you could use Lone Revenant. Pet card of mine, not usually that good, but in your deck he might be quite useful.
Also, I second Creeping Tar Pit, Celestial Colonnade and the Azorius and Dimir Keyrunes.
By the way, Runechanter's Pike is one of the most powerful equipments in the format, and so is Grafted Exoskeleton. A doublestriker with one of these frequently one-shots people in my meta.

highly evasive/untargetable guys for reliability of sword procs. for example, invisible stalker.
double strike dudes for maximum impact. for example, fencing ace.
dudes with other good abilities for guaranteed usefulness. like dark confidant.
I'm also a fan of some of the other combat proc dudes, like lu xun, scholar general
