I forgot all about this thread! Love to check out articles and content that are not on main EDH sites and can be located a bit off the beaten path. Anyway we can get it "stickied"?
In my ongoing research on mulligans, I took a huge tangent on the Scry mechanic. There was enough material for a full article. I also muse a bit on general M:tG theory.
I should be posting monthly deck techs as well as any misc Commander related info and events. We also have a Facebook page for checking stuff out on the go.
MTG Connect is excited to announce it will be running a Commander series. These will be 4-player matches where we build around a certain theme each month.
We will also have a competitive series called "King of the Tower" as well showcasing broken Commander decks where the winner of each episode advances to the next episode to face off against 3 different opponents.
Link to episode 1 can be found below. Subscribe for the latest. Thanks!
Started my own blog for commander. More coming soon but my first article is up.
Looking to make it more competitive based and give people ideas on how to improve decks

Hey guys so I've actually moved on from commander on to 60 card decks so I don't have any commander decks.
Anyway I've started my own gameplay channel in which I play games (Magic also)
Good start. Fix up your capitalization and punctuation. Also screw Carpet of Flowers. That thing is so broken. Trying to play a High Tide mana base with that thing around is infuriating.

"Those who are skilled in combat do not become angered,
those who are skilled at winning do not become afraid.
Thus the wise win before the fight, while the ignorant fight to win."
I like it, my only helpful criticism is to tag the price under each card and stress more on some of the more situational cards.
As for mental misstep, Depends on the meta. My old one before I moved... not worth it. Where I moved now though everyone is spamming mana crypt and opals for days. Totally worth seeing their face if anything else when you turn 1 counter it
A lot of the cards scale to more competitive groups and most of them I wouldn't consider cutting from decks.
Thanks for the input guys. Looking forward to more write ups in the future

I'm happy to say I run all but one of the underplayed cards in at least one of my decks (the only one missing is Frontier Siege which I might well test in a deck or two), and none of the 10 worst planeswalkers (though I really wish I could find an excuse to run Chandra Nalaar as I have the anime one and I'm a weeb. It's just so bad....)

I forgot about that anime version.
As far as art goes I love that one but man is the card bad.

I think it's a fantastic idea, honestly. Even though people have been using dice to keep track of life totals for ages, I don't think I've ever seen something like the dice cradle before. Which is great - the biggest problem with keeping track of life with D20s (which is the method I see most often) is the dice getting knocked around accidentally. Also, I think you're absolutely right that it's easier to see the numbers on a pair of d10s than on d20s, and that's important when I'm trying to see the life totals around the table. Also, it's just a personal thing, but I think just having two digits for the life total is more elegant than having two d20s... 3 and 7 versus 20 and 17, it just makes more sense at a glance.
One problem I could see people having is that everyone already has spindown d20 prerelease dice or what have you. I'm not sure if people just have spindown d10s, and while you offer them as a package of course, I'm sure people would think, "Why can't I just get a dice cradle for the d20s I already have?" Though, to reiterate, I do like the aesthetics of the d10s better.
My biggest concern looking at this as a customer would be "how easy are the dice to turn in the cradle?" To some degree you have to pick up a regular spindown d20 to adjust the life, it's just one of those things I'd want to get my hands on and see how it feels.
Anyways, my initial reaction to this was, "how is this not already a thing that I'm using?" which I think is pretty good. I like it a lot.
EDIT: Size-wise, there are a number of deck boxes that have dice storage compartments, and it would be a great bonus if the dice cradle fit in one of those. For people with dice bags this wouldn't be an issue though.
Looks fantastic. I've used normal d10's for my life total for many years and your holder and spindowns would make it even more convenient. They're minor improvements but I know they will be nice.
Thanks for your feedback!
Regarding the concern: "How easy are the dice to turn in the cradle?"
Very. It's as easier than snapping your fingers. The smooth injection molded dice glide against the G10 with almost no resistance.
I have written a series of articles (Pursuit of Knowledge series) on edhrec.com based on EDH gameplay data and while writing the articles, I created a series of tools to help with content creation. I figured these tools would be valuable for deckbuilders at large, so I decided to create a web site for others to use. Check it out: edhgameplay.com

I designed a Spin-Down Life Counter for EDH players. Let me know what you think.
