Hi, I'm new to EDH like your buddy. I got into it because two of my employees play regularly and running a business leaves me little time to draft. If you want to detour slightly to the Tri-Cities (Kennewick/Pasco/Richland) in Eastern Washington we would love to have you for a game. Also, my business is a cannabis dispensary - we will roll out the green carpet for you, providing you are of age. PM me for further information. Happy travels!
I apologize for the lack of updates and responses, folks. We hit it hard as soon as the engine was finished and have pretty much been completely out if cell service and wifi. We are currently in the desert of Nevada and hoping to be in San Diego tomorrow. Unlike the original map, we are going to do pretty much the entire California coast including at least passing by LA. I'll get to PMs shortly. Thanks for all the love, everybody.

Take Highway 101 up the coast, its definitely one of the most beautiful places I've ever been. Redwood forest is awesome and the people are friendly. Cya in Montucky!

Definitely stop by Red Castle in Portland, great folks over there. Stop by Burgerville and get whatever shake is in season while you're here, they're fantastic. Powell's Books is one of the many places you should check out in Portland. I love my home town
On your way up to Seattle maybe consider going to Roadside Hobbies in Tacoma. Not sure what the EDH scene is like there right now (been a while since I've been there), but the guys who run it are super cool and there are always nice folk in general there.
In Seattle you definitely need to come to Card Kingdom! While you're there, you should definitely check out the Fremont Troll and the Pike Place fish/Saturday market. Maybe go down to check out Green Lake and play some music in the open air!
It's about 5 hours off of your course and you'd need to take a ferry (which I always love), but you should consider going up to Victoria, Canada while you're in the Northwest. It's a beautiful city.

I agree. red castle is where you find the spikes of the format who ironically don't care about loosing. It's more about how interesting and convoluted we can make a magic game.
