I am working on a commander deck based around kresh the blood braided and I am wondering if you can even have 6 shadow born apostles in a commander deck
So far definite mythics in the deck
Kresh the blood braided
Polukuranos world eater
Necropolis regent
Yes for its just like Relentless Rats. Both stating "You may have any number of this card in your deck."
My Atheros deck runs at the moment 40 apostles.
Yeah, the Black/White God. "Sac 6 Apostles to get a Demon...so, how many do I get back, and how much life do you pay to prevent some from getting back" is the general idea, I recon.

My Commander decks:
Chandra, Torch of Defiance - Oops! All Chandras.
Prime Speaker Zegana - Draw for Power.
Pir & Toothy - Counterpalooza.
Arcades, the Strategist - Another Brick in the Wall.
Zacama, Primal Calamity - Calamity of Double Mana.
Edgar Markov - Vampires Don't Die.
Child of Alara - Dreamcrusher.

Yep. Throw in various things like Edgewalker to make every apostle free to cast, Crypt of Agadeem to make use of the dead critters in your grave when it starts to stockpile with four or more. Grave Pact / Martyr's Bond / Dictate of Erebos for obvious reasons with Apostles. Contamination to force your opponent to pay 3 life to cast spells unless they are mono black. Its a fairly good deck all things considered as it has so many toys to work with to play a sort of Oppressive Aggro deck, another toy in the deck is Teysa, Orzhov Scion. From what I have seen in various other decks involving Atheros, God of Passage at the helm, it tends to be some form of Cleric (Apostle heavy or not) or Weenie deck.
