I'm looking to amp up my Lord of Tresserhorn deck, which is built around mitigating his significant drawback. This is achieved in several ways, with my favorite method being creatures with death triggers. This is what I've got so far:
Like I said, the deck has other ways of mitigating the drawback, like Torpor Orb, token producers and undying effects, but I'm really looking to maximize the death trigger aspect. Any help would be appreciated.
You could also maybe play a card like Sower of Temptation to steal one of their guys and then sacrifice it.
Havengul Lich is good at getting creatures back from your graveyard once you've sacrificed them.
You could also play Notion Thief so you get to draw two cards instead of your opponent drawing two cards. You could also play Consecrated Sphinx or Mind's Eye so that when your opponent draws the two cards from you Commander, so do you.
Edit: Unless you have a combo to go get with Noble Benefactor, I would highly suggest not playing him because it will help your opponents way too much.
[EDH] It's built to be a casual format and to a specific vision, and if you don't like the vision, there's nothing wrong with that, but it's not going to change to accommodate everyone. Big tent is not a goal.
Abyssal Gatekeeper
Keiga, the Tide Star
Kokusho, the Evening Star
Noble Benefactor
Ryusei, the Falling Star
Solemn Simulacrum
Tuktuk the Explorer
Wurmcoil Engine

Grave Pact, Puppeteer Clique, Butcher of Malakir, Harvester of Souls, and Mikaeus, the Unhallowed all have benefits when creatures die.
