Riding the Dilu Horse - for those unfamiliar with the card, it's unique because the +2/+2 & Horsemanship bonus doesn't wear off at end of turn.
This thing is expensive, ($75-$80 at the moment) so I'm sure SOMEONE is playing it - but I haven't seen it in any decks IRL or in any decklists online. (But I kind of want one!)
People who have seen this used: What was the deck like that used it? How was it?
People who use this card: What's your commander? Is it amazing, or just a cute and unique effect?
People who have never owned or played against this card: Would you play it if you had it? Where?
I know of one person who uses it, and that's ISBPathfinder. He uses it in his Thrun deck. Outside of voltron I really can't see this being all that good. In a thrun deck it would do some work since thrun is so hard to kill.
It works SOOOOOO well with Thrun, the Last Troll. Because of all of his protections and his lack of evasion its like a perfect pump for him. I have, pardon the pun, trolled so many people with it. I think just about every person goes through the same thing when I tell them that it doesn't end at EOT. I am sort of tempted to create some sort of token style of counter to mark that he has a horse he rides.
In my mind, what you really want to be looking for is sort of a robust creature that needs additional pump and evasion and you find good targets for this spell.
If I had one, whenever I played it I'd go "Retaliator Griffin is now Riding the Dilu Horse. If you know what I mean..." and wiggle my eyebrows. Then whenever anyone asked what I meant I'd dodge the question.
I'm not sure if it would be funnier before or after people got bored of the joke. (To me.)
Also, A griffin riding a horse in the air is hilarious. Maybe the horse is riding the griffin?

To be honest it is a good card because it is one the few cards that provides a permanent benefit that is not in the form of a counter of some kind being placed on the creature. Like you said, it does make your creature effectively unblockable unless you run into the rare opponent who has horsemanship as well.

I have an inordinate love for Portal 3 Kingdoms cards, but RtDH is a true gem. If I ever built something derpy like Omnath it would go in for sure, alonside Nylea, and other gigantic green fatties. There are way more big green beaters that for some reason don't have trample (or better evasion) than you would think.
I like it on creatures like Cold-Eyed Selkie too. Not everyone has islands.
As stated it's amazing in Thrun, but I've seen it used in the odd Edric deck to get some unblockable draw, as well as in Rafiq builds. Great card, really need to get a copy...

I always thought it sounded like some sort of drug reference. "Wow, man, I'm seriously riding the Dulu horse right now!" I like that the effect doesn't wear off too - sort of adds to the trippy confusion.

Its just one of those awkward names that lends itself awkwardly in that way. I could also see it as some sort of crazy drug reference...

Well, he IS riding the D.
I would like an alter of that card with a picture of Descartes.
