I'm going to go ahead and guess it will totally depend on your opponents' decks. Something that plans to win via infinite combo won't care about Oloro. Of course a deck like that generally focuses on protecting their combo instead of hating out others. A deck like Rafiq, Uril, or Skithryx is unlikely to care either, because they're planning to 21 or 10 you out of the game anyways. So-called "fair" decks are the only ones that are likely to care and aggro you more than normal. So I'd venture a guess that in a less "competetive" metagame (i.e. ones that don't feature a ton of infinite combos or deadly fast voltron generals), then yes, you can expect more than your fair share of hate playing Oloro.
you have to hate on trolloro, because he's one of the most annoying generals of all time. I hate him so much, I built erebos just to play against him. you can say that bad players think that the lifegain is threatening, but its true. the oloro player starts at 60 life, minimum! pillowfort decks need to be hated on early or else they win in a horribly slow fashion.
my LGS has EDH nights on sundays, and after getting bored of the deck i brought from home after round one, i borrowed the stores pre-con oloro deck. during round two, i was the first to die. it was kind of funny. the only person at the table people were targetting me. if someone had a curse, it was attached to me. if someone had a bolt, or burn affect, it was targetted at me. and i had a basically non existent board state to, while someone on the other side of the table playing the new jund dragon commander had just ulted a domri, had a 7/7 savageborn hydra, and a 4/4 primordial hydra. and no one was targetting him. i mean, im thinking of just giving up on him as a general, as people just are to initially scared by him
