So I've been working on a new deck idea after playing around with the precons and my own decks. I wanted to make a spirit deck but could't fill what I wanted in a commander, I mean I like what Karador, Ghost Chieftain brings to the table but I feel I need 4+ colors. I have talked with my friends and they are ok with using the nephilim, if I had to choose it would be Witch-Maw Nephilim as losing red for spirits isn't so bad. I plan to use hondens and some arcane spells. I mean would it benefit me more if I played Child of Alara, I can kind of see him being spiritly.
So with this in mind what should I do, also looking for ideas on the 99?
[EDH] It's built to be a casual format and to a specific vision, and if you don't like the vision, there's nothing wrong with that, but it's not going to change to accommodate everyone. Big tent is not a goal.
Speaking of Sovereigns, you should have Tallowisp and Evershrike in there if you're gonna run an aura toolbox. Spirits tend to overlap with Enchantment tribal a bit. Call to the Kindred is good in any tribal deck. Plus it sounds like you're leaning towards enchantments anyway.
There's an absurdly powerful Iname, Death Aspect 1v1 edh deck running around right now that's really, really strong and consistent. Here's a link to the thread, it's a little old but up to date as of June I think.
It's basically ramp ramp ramp into Iname plus a Living Death effect, wipe the board of all the creatures/everyone's cards in hand, then beat everyone to death with an army of huge spirits. It's a pretty cool list. Obviously you'd have to tweak it for multiplayer, but it could be pretty strong I think and a lot of fun to play.
So with this in mind what should I do, also looking for ideas on the 99?

I recall Celestial Kirin, Infernal Kirin and He Who Hungers were particularly annoying in my friend's old spirit deck.

Most of the Spirits in WBG comes from Kamigawa, so I've got a minor legendary theme as well.
I think any of the maidens from SoK would work in a Spirit deck. Haru-Onna and Kiri-Onna seem to get the best value.
