Whenever someone plays this the whole table groans. I find that the quickest way of resolving it is to pile up all the non-land permamants and get a die that has a number of sides equal to the number of players at the table (usually a four sided die) and then assign everyone a number and start rolling. It still can sometimes take a good 10 minutes...
This turns games from an hour into 3. With copy effects it's even more. I don't think I've ever seen a legitimate way to play this. This is one of the most trolly mtg cards, especially in multiplayer. It's only slightly better than when people make Shazarad decks so they can play magic for the sake of playing magic forever.
Christmas analogy - this card is your **** up jailbird cousin who makes every family get together about themself. Your other cousin Warp World is an alcoholic, but a least he has the decency to keep it under wraps for the holidays.

Fair point, but I agree with billisco: If I get a Elvish Mystic and an Imperious Perfect, I should be able to activate the ability. Stupid color->colorless color identity rule, *rashinfrashengrumblegrumble*.
On-topic: Scrambleverse is one of those cards I look at occasionally and think "I could put this in a chaos deck to shake up EDH night one week." But then I remember that I play in a combo-dominated meta, and play more counterspells or Armageddon effects instead.

Why should you?
What does, say, Daxos (either of them) care about those silly elves? They might have been placed in his command by higher powers, but that doesn't mean that he has to like them, or care about their silly 'green mana' prattle and their wants and needs and desires. Since they don't do what he wants them to do... the only good they're good for -- is to get in the way.

I don't disagree with that, but it's also why I think that rule is incomplete. The first Daxos shouldn't be able to spend mana as though they were colors that he "doesn't care for" at all. Since flavor can justify anything (we can just pretend that it's deceptive mana flavor-wise), but practically I preferred if that rule also nullified "You can spend mana as though as it were any color" to "You can only spend mana as though as it were any of your Commander's Colors" to align with the "practical" restrictions that the rule intended.
Back to Scrambleverse... perhaps its fun the first few times a person casts/experiences it, but it gets boring after that due to the sheer amount of time wasted, even if the group agrees to run "shortcuts" for its resolution.
I had a foil one of these that I opened and wheeled in my second ever draft... then it took me 5 years to get it out of my rare folder... just... take.... it.
It's a trap. Every other chaosy card, I'm glad to see someone play and learn to use to their advantage. The only time I could ever see Scrambleverse as a planned afvantage gainer is if you have nothing but 8 lands and your opponent has 126 tokens. That's not something you plan for in deck building, and also when resolving the card is most miserable. Don't play it.

Zedruu: "This deck is not only able to go crazy - it also needs to do so."
One of these days I'm going to get around to building a dedicated chaos deck, but I can't really justify prioritizing a deck I'll probably only play once a year at most. That being said, I've got a stack of stupid .11 cent rares like this sitting around somewhere, waiting for me to pull the trigger.
Haters be damned. Don't tell other people how to enjoy the game.
How did I miss this in Theros? I actually like the various Myr in a deck that both wants to be aggro and needs nontraditional ramp help. So running this would be decent, and it's a unicorn to boot!
It's got a weird horn. Body looks like a dog. Tail looks like a dogs... that's been shaved... Why does it have back spines instead of a mane? Why does it have elbow spikes, when horses can't elbow things... Why is the elbow spine on the inside of the elbow... while the knee spines are on the outside?
3 mana 1/2 bop is pretty bad. At least myr are a 2 drop. For a 3 drop for any color mana, where it needs to compete with Darksteel Ingot and friends... I mean, at best light scenario, this is worse than alloy myr losing a power and a relevant creature type, and alloy myr is worse than Scuttlemutt, though not strictly so. Myr type may matter in more situations than scarecrow, but at least scuttle as an extra ability.
0/10 art (rest of the artist's stuff looks cool, but this thing just doesn't jive with me...)
2/10 card. Was going to give it a 0, but then I remembered that things like Power Surge technically exist.
Strictly worse than Alloy Myr, and no interaction with Myr Galvanizer. I guess, if you're playing Doran...you want Utopia Tree or Sylvan Caryatid. If you're not in green, you still have plenty of mana rocks to choose from (Coalition Relic, Darksteel Ingot, even strictly worse Manalith), which can't attack, block, or do all the other fun creature things, but can't be killed by a damn Pyroclasm either. Over in, err, Land Land, you've got Rupture Spire and Transguild Courier, so you can still get the mana fixing, but not the ramp. Prophetic Prism also gives you the mana fixing without the ramp, and is a cantrip for one less.
4/10 It isn't total *****, but its big problem is that so many better cards fill the role.

Card advantage is not the same thing as card draw. Something for 2B cannot be strictly worse than something for BBB or 3BB. If you're taking out Swords to Plowshares for Plummet, you're a fool. Stop doing these things!
I have a deck that's pretty close to being mana dork tribal (runs like 20 mana dorks) and this guy didn't make the list for serious consideration. I want my 3CMC dorks to make more than one mana. I suppose if I was trying to do something similar without access to green, I would consider this guy.
In a singleton format where you're not likely to face a mirror match I can't think this would get that much use, but maybe there's something that's a sure bet? Rampant Growth maybe?
[EDH] It's built to be a casual format and to a specific vision, and if you don't like the vision, there's nothing wrong with that, but it's not going to change to accommodate everyone. Big tent is not a goal.
